24.01.2022 The RBA cut rates earlier this month and yet irrespective of theses there has been little to no effect on the overall Sydney market. The number of properties available are down and buyers are taking their time in buying a home. Thanks to a couple blokes who want to win a popularity contest to see who will be Prime Minister. The uncertainty of who it will be and their respective policies and talk about higher taxes, abolishing negative gearing, has sacred a lot of folks out of the market. At this time of year with a rate cut we just received under our belt we should be seeing a lot more activity than we are.

23.01.2022 Well we are off to the poles to vote in a prime minister, this coupled with RBA's decision to cut interest rates will make for interesting times in real estate in the next few months.

21.01.2022 I'm sure the media will catch up soon enough, but after waiting nearly 6 weeks for them i decided to post a comment. The market place has finished the frantic feeding frenzy faze and has become more moderate. With the increase in supply and decrease in demand. There are a couple of factors which has caused this to happen now. One is the seasonal influx of stock in the market place and the 2nd is the dramatic reduction of investors in the market due to tighter lending and reduced rental yields. That said prices remain at their current levels with days on market increasing. So if you are waiting for prices to drop in the near future you will be disappointed. Are you seeing the same in your area?

18.01.2022 Well the early part of 2016 has confirmed that the market has returned back to realistic pricing levels. We are seeing buyers becoming my discerning with their purchase as the number of properties available are on the increase. Vendors now more than ever need to keep pace with the market or risk being left behind.

12.01.2022 Since my last post regarding the market place and the sequence of events that were going to change it, have now come to fruition. Clearance rates in the high eighties are no longer and the mid 60's seems to be norm today. Days on market have increased and buyers are spoilt for choice with the added influx of stock to the market. Sellers need agents now more than ever who are not afraid to share the facts with them. If they aren't doing this then it's time to change agents.
