14.01.2022 Meet Carlos, the new owner of one of the longest running restaurants (if not the longest) on the Sunshine Coast - Maisie's! The iconic Maisie's at Noosaville is stooped in history dating back to 1920's. Originally run as a cafe under the Massoud Family during the Great Depression and World War II. Daughter Maisie Massoud was at the time a waitress and later in life would visit to have the odd meal until she passed in 2005. ... Mr and Mrs Fiegl had taken over the reigns in 1997 when it was a Mexican restaurant and within a few months changed the place to specialise more in seafood and Steaks. Carlos and his wife (also a chef) have since put there own flavour on the building since taking over a bit over a year ago by refurbishing the inside. Once a little dark inside is now quite light and fresh and feels very welcoming with it's new decor. Congratulations Carlos, you've done a wonderful job on the place!
