24.01.2022 I'm sure you've all seen Fury Road by now (?You havn't??? Move away from the keyboard now, make your way to your nearest cinema immediately....) Max's Interceptor gets stolen and comes back as "Razor Cola" a jacked up twin-blown flame throwing wasteland battle machine. There were 2 Falcon hardtops built for the movie, both were supplied by Cam (owned of RestoPrep Australia), they were then blasted and buffed in our NSW workshop before being transported to Sydney to the action... vehicles workshop ready for their transformation. The first car was actually our own RestoPrep display vehicle, already finsihed in bare metal (you'll see a couple of pics of the car taken at Singleton show back in 2008). The 2nd car was one of Cam's spare hardtop shell which was particularly rusty (the pics make it look a lot better than it was). Cam was also employed as part of the film crew to built the two Razor Cola vehicles to as you see them on film (with the help of a couple of very talented panel beaters who did the steel body kits). 22.01.2022 Regardless if your a backyard restorer or existing restoration professional, do yourself a favour and get along to one of these workshops, you may very well be surprised to find that whilst you've already been getting great results, there may infact be better techniques to get those results easier.

09.01.2022 NSW: It may be raining but that's not stopping hundreds of Hot Rodders putting their rides on show down at the Australian Street Rod Nationals at Newcastle Jockey Club. Come on down and say Hi to Steve and Wendy. Lots to see under cover and check out all the outdoor rods on display when there is a break in the rain.

09.01.2022 Genuine HJ GTS Monaro came in rolling, once disassembled it was put on the rotisserie and given a full blast in and out. Pretty tidy body. All panels were also done, before refitting the panels safe for transport.

07.01.2022 Our friends at Mace Family Kustoms (Medowie NSW, near Newcastle) are looking for a experienced qualified panel beater with restoration and sheet metal fabrication experience. Some that has consistency with there work takes pride in there work and can show the work in metal part time or even a semi retired person. This IS NOT a smash shop we are a Restoration and Kustom shop specialising in mentioned work so you will be fixing rust completely unpicking cars and rebuilding pre 1980 cars predominantly falcon and falcon hardtop/coupe inbox Corey (I will tag him in the comments) for more details I will not be answering questions on this post. Please no stuff arounds or dreamers experienced person needed must be able to come in for a trial run

02.01.2022 This classic E-Type was blasted for the guys at Pacific Reproductions in Brookvale. I'd love one of those bonnets just to hang in the garage (in bare metal of course).
