25.01.2022 Soggy Sunday call out. Dishwasher failure during the night.



25.01.2022 The poor people that live in this house near Toowoomba have had leaks every day for the last two weeks apart from one day! When I inspected yesterday I found at least another two leaks. Its very hard to try and dry a structure thats constantly getting wet. The risk of mould growth is growing daily. Meeting with insurance assessor has been organised so hopefully they can get repairs organised.

24.01.2022 Unattended burst flexible hot water line under the en-suite vanity unit. Most likely been running for days as the water has gone through the vapour barriers and soaking the external block wall. Carpets and underlay removed because of the amount of odour bacterial activity.

20.01.2022 A little call out this morning for a water damage. We extracted and installed dehumidifier and air movers To the affected rooms.



20.01.2022 A recently completed mould removal job done. It was caused by a water loss not being dried properly. Insured though they had dried it with their small dehumidifier but it wasnt the case.

19.01.2022 Running multiple dehumidifier combinations for very low grains of 1.63g/m3. 2.55% RH.

18.01.2022 Fish tank leaked and damaged wall cavities and cabinets. Carpet was removed in the affected areas because of the high microbial activity. Make safe at this stage and recommending removing some wall linings for assessment for bacterial growth.

16.01.2022 This week we have to a fire and smoke affected building to restore removing soot and containment’s caused by the fire. As you can see by some of the images of the door header this house was seconds from been a total loss.

15.01.2022 Some serious mould growth found on one of todays water damage jobs. Full containment required before demolition and remediation.

14.01.2022 Another small water damage completed today. Structure tested dry and completed in four days.

12.01.2022 This is the result of a water damage job that the owner thought would just dry using a couple of fans and open windows. No visible mould to the external painted surfaces, but after being wet for 6 days we new it required a thought investigation. Most internal wall cavities had active mould growth.

05.01.2022 Water damage in Rainbow Beach. Sadly we found mould in the wall cavity because the loss wasnt found for over a week as insured was in hospital.

04.01.2022 This is a water damage that was not found for over a week. When we investigated we found mould growth in the wall cavities and under the kitchen cavities. Contents are in storage and the affected areas were stripped out then cleaned and sanitised prior to drying and testing.

04.01.2022 One of this weeks water damage jobs completed. This one was caused by a rusty braided flexible hose failure.

03.01.2022 Sharps clean up and decontamination for the start of the week. Vandals broke into a sharps container and spread them in the sink and on the floor of a park.

02.01.2022 Last week we attended a small fire and smoke damage job in Surat. Surat is a lovely outback town with very hospitable people and great takeaway meals. This meal way only $10.50 at the local pub. So once the Covid-19 lockdown is over do yourself a favour and visit the Queensland outback because the folk are great
