23.01.2022 It is a crucial time to raise the profile of cancer rehabilitation. Please support our upcoming worldwide Cancer Rehab Awareness Week 2020. The COVID-19 crisi...s has caused a seismic shift in the delivery of healthcare across the world, and the knock-on effect for cancer patients is deeply concerning. This vulnerable group is missing out. Cancer will not stop because of the pandemic, and the needs of those going through cancer treatment remain. The gap in the provision and access to services to support optimal recovery after cancer must be addressed. For those with a new cancer diagnosis, it comes with a higher risk of poor outcomes in the post-COVID-19 world. As such, there is no more crucial time to raise awareness for greater access to cancer rehab services, to break down barriers, and bringing vital cancer rehab services to communities. The number of people surviving cancer is growing, however, people are often living with long-term side effects of the disease and its treatment, both physical and emotional, says PINC & STEEL Chief Executive Lou James (MNZM). these effects along with the additional stresses caused by the pandemic are making them feel they havent beaten cancer at all. Cancer Rehab Awareness Week 7-13th September 2020. #CRAW2020 #pincandsteel #cancerrehab #rehabmatters #righttorehab

02.01.2022 Preventing lymphoedema is one of our passions at Restore. Using the SOZO, to pick up changes in fluid before you can see or feel it, allows for early detection, intervention and prevention. Super important for patients at risk ie having more than 5 lymph nodes removed.
