25.01.2022 Colour fading So many of the early colour prints produced, particularly in min labs, are impacted by colour leaching. Over time UV light attacks the dye layers within the print and colours shift dramatically. As this sample shows it is possible to restore the colour in some instances

11.01.2022 Time and environment can be savage on old photographs, I recent restored these for the local historical society. Three had been severely heat affected hence darkened and the print surface had cracked badly. They were reprinted using latest technology designed to stand the test of time hopefully in 100 years they will look the same.
