That’s how we spent our Friday last week. Seeing our community band together for an important cause, Gen and Kathy formed part of a team and enjoyed the day out on the course at the Hervey Bay Golf Club Inc. Genevieve volunteers as a Board Member for Fraser Coast Mates, so seeing the support and over $3,500 raised on their fourth annual Golf Day was especially rewarding for Gen! Fraser Coast Mates aims to build awareness, start conversations about mental health issues and bridge the gap between support services. Their goal is to better equip mates to help their friends and colleagues in times of need.
