23.01.2022 Well that would have to be one of the hairiest drives i have ever had...from 31deg to 22 deg in 15 minutes. Bucketing would be the understatement of the year. Visibility maybe 50mtrs at times. SCARY!!! Didn't know where to safely stop. Drove at 30 to 40kms half the way home. Lightning and thundering accompanied me home. Lovely. Not! Had taken this pic of 2 lovely ladies enjoying the balmy afternoon on the golf course...turned around and sky was black...they quickly hoofed it ...off the course when the lightning started 'too close for comfort' was their observation! Got home to flooded patio and gardens...and street. Never been happier to reach home. Hope you are all safe and not flooded out. Jan. Xxx See more
