18.01.2022 These guys developed a super yacht that scoops up plastic trash from the ocean and then uses it as FUEL! @theseacleaners' Mantra concept is seriously effectiv...e, capable of gobbling up 20 million pounds of trash every year. A fleet of 400 of these boats could gobble up 1/3 of the plastic debris trashing oceans, according to project director Yvan Bourgon. Although it's just a concept now, Bourgon hopes to have a fully-working prototype ready to tackle the plastic crisis by 2024. @theseacleaners via IG
