20.01.2022 Rosies, Australia's Tastiest Chicken, is now available from Retreat Road Takeaway. Our customers and friends response has been fantastic to the new Rosies Chicken range. One of the most popular items is Rosies Chicken Poppers ($6.50). Poppers are 100% chicken breast, hand cut in our kitchen and made on the spot when you order them. So incredibly fresh and tasty, poppers are becoming a top seller within the first two weeks of introducing them. They take literally a few minutes... to cook and the serving is very generous, just as you see this actual photo of the poppers. Try them for yourself, $6.50 per generous serve, cooked fresh for you. We look forward to introducing more fabulous Rosies products over the next few weeks. Plus some additions to our awesome fish and chips, burgers and Souvlaki ranges. 18.01.2022 FROSTY BOY Milkshakes, Thickshakes and Soft Serve now serving at Retreat Road. Our Frosty Boy machine has been fully serviced, tested and is now in full swing for the summer. 17.01.2022 Hi Friends, Customers and Flora Hill residents, we have finished our Renovation to make our shop safe, sensible and no-touch given the current situation. We have also revised our hours, basically only dinners for now until the trouble comes to an end. If you would like to have some of our awesome takeaway food for dinner tonight the best way to do that is: 1. Call the shop on 5444 3793 2. Place your order and leave your mobile number 3. Drive down and wait in the car park, we... will message your mobile "Ready" when your order is waiting for you. 4. Hop out the car and approach the window to pay and pick up your order. 5. One person only in the yellow safety area at a time please. Just a few extra notes: We prefer tap and go card transactions at this time (no surcharge). We can accept cash, but we will not handle your money directly (it will be isolated without touch) and we will provide you with change that has been sterilised and dried (24 hours earlier). Please respect social distancing and only one person at a time in the Yellow safety area marked on the ground at our door. You can still walk up and order and pay at the window, but you will need to move away from the window and stay away from others while we cook your food, waiting in the car is the safest option. This new process will be a bit slower, so please accept our apologies. We are sorry for any inconvenience this new no-touch process causes, but for the safety of our customers, team members and our community it is essential that we all behave responsibly. Our indoor waiting area is closed and we cannot offer seating under the new rules and for the safety of everyone. Please stay tuned on Facebook as we have further information and updates on the way. 14.01.2022 We open during the current circuit breaker lockdown 4.00pm to 7.30pm each day. You can order by phone 5444 3793 and Julie will let you know the best pick up time. Just as during the last lockdown, we will be open for dinner every day except Sunday and return to normal lunch and dinner times as soon as the lockdown ends. 12.01.2022 Dear friends and customers, we have decided to close for the whole of the Easter weekend, so we will Not Be Open on Good Friday. This was not an easy decision and I would like to apologise for everyone we would normally serve on Good Friday, please accept my sincere apologies. Knowing the crowd we get every Good Friday and considering the many new customers we are now serving, we made a decision to close in the best interests of the community. With huge numbers of people expe...cted on Good Friday we would not be able to provide a safe social distancing environment for our customers given the area around our serving window. We value the safety and health of our community and country above any possible money we could make on Good Friday. I'm truly sorry for the inconvenience this causes, but I believe given the current circumstances, it just wasn't worth the risk to our customers. 03.01.2022 Lamb Souvlaki from Retreat Road Takeaway One of our best sellers, we hand cut and season only leg lamb for our fabulous souvlaki. Bruce worked at a Greek Soccer Club in Brunswick for two years where he learned the art of a great souvlaki from families out of Mykanos and Sparta in Greece. This is one of our most popular menu items and I'm sure you'll love it. We also offer both chicken and fish as alternatives to Lamb if you'd prefer. All souvlakia come with tzatziki (garlic and yogurt) sauce, although some prefer tartare with the fish souvlaki. Whatever your individual tastes, we are happy to build it the way you like it. Cooked to order for $9.00 with pita, lettuce, tomato, red onion, leg lamb and tzatziki sauce.

We will be open this week from Wednesday 27th Dec through to Saturday 30th Dec for Dinner only. So open between 4:00pm and 7:30pm on Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday... open from 4:00pm until 8.00pm on Friday as usual. Then closed Sunday and New Years day Monday. Back to normal hours from Tuesday 2nd January.
