Over the next week we will change all our prints to standard metric sizes - A3, A2, A1, A0, B2, B1, B0 - and add a canvas floating frame option to the mix. This contemporary, popular style gives the illusion that your canvas picture is actually floating within the frame as the picture sits away from the frame instead of the edge of the picture disappearing behind the frame itself (as it does with standard print framing). Our floating frames will be available in a choice of 4 sustainable timber colours in all 7 of our new sizes. Over the next week you may notice a mix of old and new sizes between prints but I will plough my way through updating 22,050 variants as quickly as I can and all should be right to go mid next week. Thank you for embracing my crazy business idea 10 years ago to ...import vintage pieces from Europe and all the ups and downs and the bloody great fun and headaches that that involved. 02.01.2022 Some of the common hurdles we face when we work on these old images include restoring image clarity and colour, removing stains, rips and folds and correcting other consequences of a long life in the public eye. We’ve removed more than a few biro scribbles and occasionally replicated a whole piece of missing image. Luckily Matt is patient, pedantic and respectful of the provenance of these vintage images. We hope that our work extends the life of these wonderful designs and allows many people to enjoy them for many years to come.
