25.01.2022 Heres an interesting project I have been working on recently! Its a specialised controller for a young lad unfortunately unable to bend his hand around a conventional controller to reach the triggers, so they have been relocated to the top of the controller! I can't wait to get it finished and let another person get back in the game!

24.01.2022 Retro Repository is currently offering $0 assessment fee for any damaged household electronics (PCs, Laptops, TVs, Game Consoles, etc) to anyone in the Townsville and surrounding affected regions. All labour costs are also halfed until the regional flood cleanup is complete.(Please note, we do not repair phones/tablets. FastFixPhones in Thuringowa is a good place for this!)

24.01.2022 Been pretty crazy with computer repairs lately!! If you know someone who needs some work done well, for the best price in town, send then our way!! Most repairs fall under our $70 price point! You can't get much better then that... We can also build new PC's to suit your needs!

22.01.2022 Replaced some worn grey thumbsticks on this white controller, but the new fresh black ones looked out of place with all the other grey and white bits, so I swapped them aswell, including the dpad, bumpers, triggers, start and back buttons, battery case and filler part in the middle. I think the result is way better than the original grey and white mess. What do you think?

22.01.2022 Full PS4 teardown in preparation for a full cleanup to make her run like new again :)

20.01.2022 Been a little quiet on the page recently. Just letting you know we are still very much active. In the last week I have repaired an xbox 360 controller, an xbox one controller, two PC's and a PS3. We have also sold over $2000 in retro games and hardware. We are also looking at getting some floor space in The Gamers Lounge so that people can actually see our stock. If you or anyone you know needs a controller or console repair, look no further than Retro Repository!!!

13.01.2022 WOOHOO. We found a location and hope to get ourselves all up and going in a few weeks!!!

12.01.2022 Now before all the "purists" get angry at me for ruining a "perfectly good N64", when this arrived in the post, the plastic casing was unfortunately smashed to pieces. Well unlike Humpty Dumpty, I was able to put him back together again. And to cover all the cracks he got a well earned paint job. And then he became egotistical and went mad with LEDs... At least they can be turned off!!! World, Meet "Project Snowy". An N64 with attitude haha

10.01.2022 I know, I Know! More Xbox mods! But it's what people want so it's what I make. First time changing the front panel LEDs. Definitely looks very nice. Another one with the clear window and 2tb hard drive. Let me know if you like it :)

09.01.2022 Just got our hands on a boxed Vectrex!!! Very cool recent acquisition :)

08.01.2022 We now have some shelf space at The Gamers Lounge. It's not alot but it's a start!!!

07.01.2022 The Gamers Lounge in Townsville now has Yu-Gi-Oh booster packs!!!

06.01.2022 Some games for sale

05.01.2022 A long awaited page update - yes I still actively mod and repair! Especially proud of this recent Atari Lynx I McWill LCD mod. Looks fantastic and definitely a service I am happy to offer to any customers now and in the future!

05.01.2022 Howdy All!!! Sorry for the long Radio Silence. We are still very much active. I've recently done a whole bunch of repairs on things I'd never done before, most notably and amplifier for a home stereo and an RF plug on a 60" LED TV. I've also done my first ever Dreamcast repair/Mod. It had a dead power supply that was beyond repair, so I decided to repurpose and old spare Original Xbox power supply to do the job instead. Only problem was it was way too big to fit in the Dreamcast case so I had to make an external, self cooling power brick. It seems to have turned out extremely well. What do you think?

04.01.2022 My newest mod idea. I have so many original xbox controllers that have been made useless by the failure of the original cord that they came with. I was looking online for replacement cords when I thought "Why not have a cord that I can easily replace if it fails" and decided to use a mini usb plug to achieve just that. Of course I then needed a usb to xbox controller port adapter, but that was the simple part (these can be found very cheap online but I decided to just make one...) Thoughts?

01.01.2022 Hey all. Check out my other page www.facebook.com/gamersloungecafe We are going to be bringing this unique gaming lounge/coffee shop to Townsville before 2017 (sounds like a long way off but really its no time at all) so we are hoping to build some hype now!!! Share the page, tell your friends, and get excited for a great experience and fun family atmosphere unmatched by anything else!

01.01.2022 Getting into the final stages of setup ready for Saturday's big GRAND OPENING of the new store. Only things left to do are get some food in there and connect the consoles. The consoles are very important but a minor job in comparison to the rest
