17.01.2022 Thanks for the write up RV Daily https://rvdaily.com.au/are-these-the-coolest-retro-rvs-in-/

13.01.2022 Here we go again We’ve had a few comments like this so thought we would take the time to answer. See pics of before and after and see the original comment that we are responding to in the first pic. Hi Ben, thanks for your comment and concern. We’ve had a few people and ‘purists’ make similar comments so thought it would be best to take the time to reply properly. When we choose the Kombi’s that we buy and Hack up we choose very carefully. Firstly we look for Kombi...’s that are very rusty. In fact we look for and buy the Kombi’s that no one else wants. The Kombi’s we buy are for sale on public forums and are available for anyone to buy, but people pass them by as there’s too much cost and work to restore them. Something I have noticed is that Kombi’s become available for sale and then someone buys them. Then, 2 months later the same Kombi is for sale again on Gumtree or Facebook market place again because the person who bought it had good intentions but quickly realized they don’t have the time, skills or possibly the funds to restore the rusted bus. I’ve watched this happen countless times. So this is where I become confused. I see rusted busses being sold by an owner because they didn’t get around to fixing it. Then the bus is purchased by another buyer with good intentions but all that happens is the kombi ‘does the rounds’ moving from paddock to paddock, yard to yard to new buyers who also have good intentions, all while become rustier and rustier I would have thought that kombi lovers and ‘purists’ alike would be happy to see the badly rust affected Kombi’s being restored and back on the road rather than rusting into the ground, but obviously I’m wrong. Nevertheless, we will continue on our mission to buy rusty Kombi’s to restore (Hack up) and convert them into Retro RV’s so people can enjoy them once again. A lot better than rusting in a paddock in my opinion. I guess the question is: Are the Kombi’s better off not being hacked up and left rusting in the front yards of their owners who have good intentions, or are they better off being purchased, restored and converted into stunning, reliable roadworthy Retro RV’s giving people adventures and road trips that they will remember for the rest of their lives? Each to their own, but I think the latter. #UpCycle Retro RV. Home is where you park it. See pics of one of the busses we bought, Restored and converted. No one else wanted it.

13.01.2022 Not sure if we should name this clip The show stopper or The lonely Porsche but either way, we had a great time at the car show at St Ives Showground today
