17.01.2022 Warning this post contains exposed "finger meat" hahahah!! Would you expect anything less.. About 9am on October 6th I had a run in with my Bandsaw, I am very lucky I didn't need surgery..Another millimetre and I wouldve been visiting doctors for weeks.... I dressed it every 12 or so hours myself, I am the Best Nurse EVER - No Lessons of Course... Needless to say my thumb was bumpin' like it had been smashed by a cricket bat and wrapped up like a lounge cushion and YES - I was playing guitar that same evening!! I am a bit gunshy using that bandsaw, I am looking for better safety systems in the workshop as I am still too young to stop playing and just manage bands yet!!! I would find that soo Boooorrrring... i am on for the action not the sidelines.. This is why large factories use very Large and Expensive CNC Machines!!! Still a bit sore but healing well nonetheless... It put me behind the 8 Ball for about a Month but we are catching up again with Work now! Please be careful everyone, donr operate machinery when you are tired or in a bad mood or a little bit dopey... someone once said to me - you don't know what you got until it's almost gone.....
