19.01.2022 FINAL Friday evening notice .. registrations are now closed but if you do want to attend tomorrow night you can just turn up and track me down. I'll be the one with the mega bags under her eyes Housekeeping Wristbands must be worn and not just carried around. ... No wristband on then no entrance into our area. Food must be consumed in our area only. Smoking is down where the band is playing Speaking of the music Joe Echo is playing. Google him if you don't know him. Anyone misbehaves they will find themselves on detention, picking up rubbish lol !!! Enjoy peoples, see you all tomorrow night.

17.01.2022 I have a number of people who have recently registered for the Friday and Saturday evenings but I still have no payment received. If you have not paid then I will need cash at the venue please ..... numbers are prebooked and so now I'm in debt.

17.01.2022 See you all in 24 hours......

14.01.2022 Wow what a night last night was. I had a fantastic time meeting you all. Last count there was around 240 people who attended. Once the weekend is over I will put a link on here to all the photos from the weekend so you can download what you want. Just a few reminders ....... School is in session today from 10am until 3pm. 10 - 12 you can just tour the school, there is memorabilia up everywhere. 12 - 1pm. Welcome ceremony in the gym. Terry Paull ex captain from 1979 wil...l be speaking. There is also a short movie from 1968 until now. 1 - 3 there are also Year photos in the gym and time to mingle. Food and coffee vans will be set up along with a very special stall that is dear to my heart ( so that means please support it). Our students from our support classes ( where I work) have been hard at work making Lanyards from hand crafted beads etc so please don’t leave today without purchasing one. These same students are very proud of E block which is their home away from home. They paint and garden to make what is a dreary place look as nice as possible so make sure you have a looksie. Guildford Leagues begins at 6.30 for all those attending the formal function. Vicki Muston and Steve Champion will be speaking. Will be a wonderful evening. For those of you that just want to catch up again everyone else is heading to the Coolibah for drinks at around 5.30. See you all later today... Jo

14.01.2022 So last night was another great night and a fitting end to a fantastic weekend. Thank you to all those who attended. All photos from Friday night (including the silly photobooth ones), school Saturday and Saturday evening from our wonderful photographer Tim will be put online in a dropbox which I will then publish the direct link to. This will be a public site so everyone can access without the need of a password etc and then download what ever pictures they want. I wi...ll also put the link to the short movie shown about Holroyd High School on there as well. Hopefully this will be sometime this week. To all those travelling home, safe travels, really enjoyed meeting you all. Jo

09.01.2022 Friday Evening - For those of you attending please go direct to the tables set up near the entrance of our area (easy to find). Here you will need to get your name checked off and receive your wristband and name badges. To save confusion I will be issuing name badges in maiden names (if known) and for any guests that didn’t attend Holroyd it will simply have the word guest on it. They will also be colour coded into what decade you began school - this then gives more emphas...is to the original starters in the 60’s. Yellow - The Original 60’s Blue - The 70’s Orange - The 80’s Green - The 90’s White - Ex Staff Red - Guest You are free to roam where ever you want in the hotel but entrance to our secured area is for paid attendees only as this is where our food etc will be laid out. Platters will begin at approx 6.30 and continue as needed into the evening. Tim Woolf (also an ex student) will be our photographer extraordinaire for the evening and will be floating around taking happy snaps all evening. There will also be a photo booth with props in our area available for those DIY moments. At around 7pm I will do a 30 second welcome speech and we will have a short moment of silence to honour those ex students and staff that are no longer with us. As I have posted previously there will be a memorial table set up for you to write a message, a name, a quote to someone from Holroyd that has passed which will be displayed all weekend. After all this, let the reunion begin. Enjoy, have fun but stay safe. Jo

08.01.2022 Good news . I have decided to keep all registrations open. There are a few people who registered quite a while ago who have still not made payment or contacted me and because I have booked in now for definite numbers I would rather add than not have enough. So, if you would still like to attend the Friday or Saturday evenings then please email me [email protected] In the coming days I will be adding more information about each function and the program for the Back To Holroyd day.

05.01.2022 Below is a link to our new alumni program. This program will now enable us to keep in contact with past students and staff so we don't have the same issues we just had in trying to find everyone for our 50th. One of the most positive aspects to this past weekend is that we now realise there are so many of you who are proud to have been a part of Holroyd High School and who will continue to support our school. In the future I hope there are many more events we can hold to i...nclude you but I need to be able to find you. Please take the time to open the link and fill in the attached form which is just basically your contact details etc. Once all the post jubilee details are done and dusted I will be creating an Alumni page which will give you access to photos, requests, events etc... something ongoing specifically designed to cater for the past students and staff. 04.01.2022 Were You An Original??? I have two tickets available to the Saturday evening dinner at Guildford Leagues. A couple who wish to remain anonymous cannot now make it due to ill health but wanted to donate their tickets to someone that started at Holroyd in 1968 or soon after. If that is you and you wish to attend the dinner with no cost involved please private message this page. I am happy for 2 separate individuals to respond or a couple. Many thanks Jo

01.01.2022 So today I finalised everything for the Friday night function at Greystanes Inn. We have 141 people booked and mostly paid for. The food is ordered, our area being made ready, the photo booth and photographer are ready to snap and the Greystanes pub is ready for a crazy influx of people. If you still want to attend and haven't registered yet then this is your absolute last chance!!! Message this page asap to register. On a quieter note, there will be a memorial table at the venue set up so you can add any names or comments for those students or staff members that are no long with us.
