25.01.2022 Hello Revel Community! How are you? We miss you all very much and hope you are staying well. Like so many of you, our life has completely changed over the past few weeks. From managing airport transfers to home schooling our 3 children, and from wedding and event bookings to family bush walks and board games (that don't always end well!). We cannot escape the impact COVID-19 is having on our businesses and lives however we can use our time to support each other and get throu...gh this together. We want you to know we are still here and available if you need us for anything. If you need a ride to an appointment, or a parcel picked up, we are here for you. We are offering our service complimentary for the elderly or any disadvantaged members of our community so please contact us if you know of anyone in need. Our vehicles are sanitised after every passenger ride, and our drivers are following strict social distancing guidelines. Thank you for being part of the Revel family. These are challenging times, but we want you to know that we are ready to help however we can.

18.01.2022 This is a sad day for the Spirit of Australia, our national airline carrier for over 100 years. 20,000 staff to be stood down. Domestic services severely cut and international services cut entirely. The flow on effect is unimaginable. Catering staff, baggage handlers, maintenance workers, airport staff, travel agents, and our very own hire car industry also being very hard hit. We will stay strong.

14.01.2022 Some Tesla Trivia for your Friday afternoon NASA astronauts will drive a Tesla Model X out to the launchpad for the SpaceX rocket launch on 27th May! A very different mode of transport to the famous Astrovan, which drove its last astronauts out to the launchpad in July 2011. The 2 astronauts will travel to the International Space Station, where it will stay up to 110 days before returning back to Earth. Incredible!

It was very special to share in this delivery after our son spent time at the Sydneys Childrens Hospital this year. Those who vote that electric vehicles should pay a road users tax claim that EVs arent paying their fair share, because they are not contributing 42 cents per litre of petrol or diesel in fuel excise. On the other hand, supporters of electric vehicles say they already pay a premium to drive without adding more carbon to the atmosphere, because the higher price of EVs attracts more GST, stamp duty, and the luxury car tax.
