17.01.2022 My name is Joanne and I have lost an incredible 22kg in the past 18 months. This was no easy feat as I have struggled with binge eating and a strong victim mentality. I knew I needed to take control back when I was on the verge of a chronic illness. Like many of you, I had many justifiable reasons why I didn't make my health and fitness a priority. I managed a very stressful business, I had children, one of whom has a life threatening illness and I juggled the normal demands of extended family. After writing a letter to my self, I decided I was worthy of health and happiness. I was always waiting for that person to come and save me but I realised that I had to be my own hero.
