Dry pailing nappies before washing might sound disgusting and you might be thinking Amy doesn't it smell? The answer my friend is no, it doesn't smell! And here is a few reasons why. 1. The airy basket provides airflow that eliminates smells. (If you keep your nappies in a closed bucket it will stink trust me!) 2. The solids are removed as soon as the nappy is changed. (If you are exclusively breastfeeding you don't need to remove the solids as its water-soluble) Many moons ago, when our parents used cloth, they would soak the nappies. Here are a few reasons why you shouldn't use this method. 1. It is a drowning hazard. 2. It's a bacteria soup (not nice) 3.
