15.01.2022 Hi everyone, Bill here again. It's tennis at home tip time. Here are a few tips to help you keep up on your tennis skills at home. ... 1. Put simply, if you have a ball, racquet and a wall, you can play tennis. 2. My kids made up a game called tennis downball. It's a 2 or 4 person form of the downball they play at school but with tennis equipment. 3. Finally, as a lot of parents are off work right now, I think it might be a chance for mum's and dad's to get out there with their kids and play some tennis in a safe spot in the backyard, driveway or if you live in a court, play in the street (just watch out for cars). 14.01.2022 Hello everyone. Bill here from Revilo Golf. We are definitely in uncertain times. Finding a way to get out and play sport is getting more difficult so we have to get more creative with our practice to make sure we get back on the course with confidence. Here are a few tips to get you going... ... 1. A loose body is a compliant body. Stretching through yoga (there are loads of videos on youtube) is a great way to loosen up the back, legs, chest and shoulders to free up your swing. 2. Putting on the carpet. Putting at home on the carpet allows you to work on the consistency of your stroke and your distance control. 3. Chipping and pitching with a ping pong ball. Carpet provides a great fairway surface to practice from but this golfer knows that golf balls hit inside make holes in walls. That's why ping pong balls are best to improve your striking accuracy. 13.01.2022 Today marked the start of the ladies clinics for 2020. It was an awesome turnout with 46 ladies across 2 groups and plenty of fantastic golf shots. A big thanks to the Wonthaggi Golf Club helpers - Carole, Chris, Dot, Kayleen, Glen, Bob and Dawn - who were a huge help all day, and to all the lovely participants who are starting their golfing journey.
