05.05.2022 Interesting case and was a good learning for us- 27 yo male admitted under respiratory with CAP. Found to have BP 200/110 mm Hg Admitted to having been started by GP on amlodipine 6 years back, discontinued after few weeks and BP never rechecked Urea /Creatinine/LFT/FBC normal... K- 3.3 mmol/L and HCO3- 30 mmol/ Thoughts on work-up and differentials?
03.04.2022 We have been running Revise Nephrology every September in Sydney since 2015. Over a weekend, we deliver 18-20 lectures covering the core diseases of nephrology. Attended by 185 postgraduate medicine trainees in 2019, the feedback received showed that more than 90% of the attendees rated it 4 or 5 out of 5. In 2019, Revise Nephrology was replicated in Kuala Lumpur for the University of Malay and Manipal, India for the Manipal Academy of Higher Education.
