25.01.2022 STAYCATION MEMORIES Easter holidays is normally the catalyst for a mass exodus from the 'burbs to far flung boating destinations...but this year it's different. As most of us OD on chocolate watching re-runs of our fave fishing and lifestyle shows, or set up makeshift tent sites on our lawns and decks thinking about what should've been, why not share a pic of where you coulda, shoulda or woulda been this Easter. Let's get a convo going about what we intend to do and where we... intend to do it when we finally break our enforced hibernation. We'll get the ball rolling: Pambula Beach on the South Coast of NSW. Hidden between Eden and Merimbula, the emerald blue estuary that spills out into Merimbula Bay is the go-to happy place for the dude that scribbles our FB posts every couple of days. From the sheltered waters of Pambula Lake to the Gamefish-rich waters offshore, its the perfect place to do it all...or do nothing at all. Revival Boat Owners Club - Australia members and Revivalists everywhere...care to share you fave holiday happy place?

25.01.2022 And Mike O'Reilly's R640HT from Midway Marine continues the run of Revivals heading off to happy owners. We can't understate how much it means that so many owners have invested their kids' inheritance in one of our hulls. Thanks to all our owners and the Dealers that stock and support our brand. Cheers

25.01.2022 Congrats to Ian Tricker and TR MarineWorld on their expansion into QLD with the opening of their new store, TR Marine Gold Coast. The crew will kick things off big time when the gates to the 2021 Sanctuary Cove Boat Show are flung open tomorrow after a Covid-imposed hiatus last year. Head on down and check out the new Revivals TR Marine Gold Coast will have on display.

25.01.2022 WE'RE STILL AT IT... Most of the world might have come to a standstill , but we're still cranking out boats for eager boating Aussies. Here's our Sydney dealer TR MarineWorld handing over a pretty blue 560 X-Rider to Andrew and Sue Rallis and a couple of happy snaps from the excited owners while getting the boat ready for its maiden launch tomorrow. Congrats guys, and a warm welcome to the Revival family.

23.01.2022 Congrats to the Sekic family on the handover of their new R640 OffShore powered by Mercury Marine Australia & New Zealand and riding on a new Dunbier Trailers tandem trailer. JV MARINE WORLD’s Rob Graham worked with the new owners to create the ideal fishing/cruising hybrid.

23.01.2022 EOFY Boat Deal on a new 590 X-Rider from Sydney dealers TR MarineWorld. Powered by a 150 Mercury Marine FourStroke outboard, the deal represents a $7000+ saving for one lucky buyer...that's the GST covered, courtesy of the TR team. Get in early and break it in by the time spring comes around.

23.01.2022 2020...WHAT A YEAR As 2020 draws to a close, we can’t help but reflect on the challenges and opportunities that continue to influence life in a Post-Covid world. We started the year with unprecedented fires then doubled down with a mass pandemic worthy of a movie script. From masks, to home schooling, to social distancing, to dousing our hands repeatedly in alcohol. We’ve endured Lockdowns and Lockouts, Quarantines and Curfews. Boating’s been on, then off...then on again. We...’ve Zoomed, Meeting’ed, FaceTimed and Teamed like never before. Now as Santa hitches up Rudolph and co. to start their annual world-wide gift run, we’re hoping he’s got 6 billion or so Vaccine shots to shove under our trees and return us all to some semblance of normality. Yet despite all of this, 2020 delivered a few welcome surprises. Revival’s had its biggest year to date...by a HUGE margin. Hundreds of new Revivals have hit the water and production’s already booked out till the middle of 2021. Hundreds of new boats mean hundreds of new boating families and countless opportunities to reconnect and recharge. On behalf of our captain, Sam Catanese, our tireless office administrator, Karen Rees, and the entire Revival team, we’d like to wish our owners and dealers a safe and fun-filled Christmas and a more NORMAL 2021. To our ever-growing Revival Boat Owners Club - Australia community, thanks for sharing your experience and experiences. Merry Christmas . You guys and gals rock.

22.01.2022 Sydney dealer TR MarineWorld is up to it again with new Revivals literally driving out the door. This time around it's a brand spanking new R640 WeekEnder powered by a Mercury Marine Australia & New Zealand outboard. Congrats Harris and family.

22.01.2022 NEW CENTRE OF ATTENTION It's been a minute, but our hot new X-Console is about to hit the water for initial sea trials and we couldn't be more excited. Based on a re-engineered version of the proven R580 OffShore hull, the 175hp-rated X-Console will feature an optional L.R.S. (Long Range Special) 200lt tank, space for up to 5 AGM batteries, flush-mount options for up to 16" head units, optional integrated Bow Mount Electric Bracket...and that's just for starters. There's also... an optional Life-Style pack in the works that'll transform the X-Console into a family adventure machine with wide-open 360 access. Stay tuned. More info and pics to drop soon. Tricked out in WeekEnder mode, the R640 has the space, pace and grace to cater to even the fussiest boating family. Hop onboard now and have a look 'round and if you feel the urge to make the VIRTUAL a REALITY, why not have a chat with one of our dealers today!

21.01.2022 Mark Stav has just slashed A QUINTET OF REVIVAL R640’s to BETTER-THAN-BOATSHOW prices. In stock now!!

20.01.2022 Congrats to the Elliots and the Solari’s who’ve just taken delivery of their early Christmas stocking stuffers. Our boat building elves are hard at work getting all the Pre Xmas orders out the factory door for our national Network of dealers.

20.01.2022 If you love the look of our popular R530 but can't make it into a showroom for a first hand peek...this one's for you. Click on the link below and virtually hop aboard Australia's most popular compact Fibreglass Cuddy from the comfort of wherever you choose to be.

20.01.2022 And so today we honour the fallen, who gave so much for a better life today ...

20.01.2022 They’re heading out in all directions. Congrats to Darren Clark on the handover of his new R530 powered by Mercury Marine Australia & New Zealand and rolling on a tandem Dunbier Trailers trailer. This EXTREMELY POPULAR ALLROUNDER has been launching boating dreams all across Oz. Great work, Barney Friend and the JV MARINE WORLD crew.

19.01.2022 Oh stop it. No, seriously, DON'T! What's going on??? Here's yet another Revival heading home with its new owners. This time it's the giant-killing R530 that boasts a deep cockpit, much more generous than its compact dimensions might suggest. The R530 has been a bit of a problem child - in a good way - since it was launched. It not only steals sales away from its bigger brother, the R580, but is also responsible for pinching business from the popular R525/R520 siblings.... And don't get us started on the lightweight tinnies that have the unfortunate duty of competing with it for showroom real estate and customer dollars. We're sorry...NO WE'RE NOT! Congrats Manny and JV MARINE WORLD. Hope to see it full of squid ink and snapper scales in no time.

19.01.2022 Happy Lockdown Birthday to JV MARINE WORLD’s Mark Stav. Many happy returns and may all your fishes come true.

18.01.2022 Happy Easter from the Revival team to all the Revivalists out there. Special thanks to our dealers who’ve been fighting the good fight during these most unprecedented times and to the owners both new and not so new. It’s a privilege to have floated your families’ boats and hopefully, one day soon, we can all get together on the water for one almighty catchup...regardless of where you are. Stay safe. Stay healthy. Stay strong.

18.01.2022 Happy birthday to JV MARINE WORLD’s Mark Stav. Have an awesome day and much for waving the Revival Boats flag.Happy birthday to JV MARINE WORLD’s Mark Stav. Have an awesome day and much for waving the Revival Boats flag.

18.01.2022 Oops...missed this one from a couple of days ago. WA dealers Midway Marine are at it again handing over yet another R640 powered by Mercury Marine Australia & New Zealand 150 FourStroke Outboard. Congrats to Shenai and Kurt and welcome to the Revival Boats family. Seriously, it seems that all that pent up Pandemic boating frustration is being channeled into boats and the outdoors. Our moulds are in full rotation and our dedicated team of builders and finishers are racking up the OT to keep up with demand. Thanks to all new owners for choosing Revival to float your boating dreams.

17.01.2022 Farewell to THE CHIEF at WA dealer, Midway Marine. Jim Rann has waved the Revival flag since launching the brand in Perth over a dozen years ago and he and the team have been stoic supporters ever since. We share the loss to the Marine Industry with the Rann family and the Midway crew. Fair weather and smooth seas, Jimbo...

17.01.2022 R640 COLOUR-MATCHED COMBO Congrats to Graeme and Deanna who have every right to smile about the newest addition to their family, a pristine white R640 with Red and Black accents. Here’s to another awesome fitout by Perth Dealer, Midway Marine and many more to come.

14.01.2022 WA dealer Midway Marine hands over yet another R640 Hard Top to lucky new owner, Frank. Congrats and enjoy your new weapon.

13.01.2022 Revivals are walking...or should that be FLOATING out the dealers doors. Here's Vic dealers, JV MARINE WORLD handing over yet another R580 to eager owners, Graham and Jack. Many happy returns to you and your crew and welcome to the ever-growing Revival Boats family.

Easily powered by motors as compact as Mercury Marine Australia & New Zealand's 150 Four Stroke, it's an absolute beast with the latest generation Mercury Marine Australia & New Zealand 225 V6 Four Stroke. And it looks even better on its new customised Mackay tandem trailer. SWEEEETTTT!!! Revival sales ambassador Barney Friend is your main man in Vic and he's more than happy to work with prospective owner's to create their PERFECT new boat.

13.01.2022 Mark Stav from Vic dealer JV MARINE WORLD stars in his own reality show: "Look what boat I get to play with today." This time it's the ever-popular Revival R580 that's grabbed his attention. Check out Mark's natural style as he strokes, prods and pokes 19' of Melbourne-made boating goodness!

12.01.2022 WA dealers Midway Marine farewelling another Revival...this time a tricked out R580 powered by Mercury Marine Australia & New Zealand. Enjoy the ride, Pat and family.

12.01.2022 New Revivals keep floating out the door. Congrats, Sid and we’ll-done to Sydney Dealer TR MarineWorld on releasing another new Revival powered by Mercury Marine Australia & New Zealand into the wild. The mighty 530 X-Rider has written its own success story ever since it launched and every weekend loads of Aussie families are adding a new chapter.

11.01.2022 SIZE DOES MATTER New boat buyers might've noticed a recent trend of late with some boat builders re-designating their hulls to reflect the overall length of their boats to include bowsprits and bolt on platform. So, with the swap of a couple of stickers, a "550" becomes a "575" or a "1600" becomes a "1650". The reason for this is obvious: a seemingly bigger boat should provide a marketing edge when buyers are shopping it against others in its class. While there is no hard in...dustry standard to mandate how boat hulls are measured and marketed, we believe a commonsense approach should be adopted to help new boat buyers make informed purchasing decisions. Revival does not and will never include bolt-on platforms or extensions in their stated dimensions nor reflect them in the model designation. Sure a little bit of licence is fine and there's no harm in rounding up or down a few centimetres. And let's face it, model designations have always been an indicator of size not an absolute, just as many motors will round up say a 3887cc engine to 4lt for example. If the bowsprit is welded on or moulded in, and the manufacturer chooses to include that as an LOA (or Length Overall) measurement in their specs, we think that's cool. If they prefer to just measure the hull, that's cool too. We do a bit of both. But when specs blatantly include bolt on/removable bits such as rear platforms, rails, extensions, ETC, we reckon that's out of bounds. Dimensions on paper should never be the deciding factor in selecting a boat as they often don't convey the useable volume of a given hull. For example, our ever popular R520/R525/R530 all share a common hull...but the R530 seems like a class bigger, due to its deeper cockpit and taller cabin and windscreen line. The R520 Runabout has one of the longest fishing cockpits in its segment because it forgoes a cabin and re-orients the helm further forward. The perennial R525 that started the Revival story splits the difference with a compact cabin that still preserves a large cockpit. Either can be optioned with boarding platforms ...NONE of them are measured with them. So, our advice, when comparing boats, make sure you jump onboard all your options...even better, take them for a ride. And when you do demo a boat, load it up like you're actually using it. That 70hp Four Stroke might help keep the price down, and would probably suffice with only a couple onboard...but how will it really go with your entire family and a boat load of gear? Then there's stability rest and underway, not to mention the benefits of a bit of extra beam. Anyway, Rant over! Stay safe and enjoy your time on the water.

11.01.2022 As Victoria transitions to Stage 4 Lockdown, manufacturers, dealers, service providers, technicians and boaters are navigating the murky waters stirred up by Covid-19. 05.01.2022 WHAT A PAIR ARE OF ABSOLUTE LEGENDS!! Both the R525 and R530 and their new owners the Hills and the Bais who just picked up their new early Stocking Stuffers. New Revivals are floating out the door faster than we can build ‘em and we’ve had to put on extra shifts to keep up with demand. However, whenever we see the smiles on the faces of new owners, it kicks us into overdrive. ... Cheers, JV MARINE WORLD for breaking your all-time sales record for the sqillionth time this week.

05.01.2022 Day #4 of 14 SLIDE SHOW Boat Seats, Bases, Pedestals and Mounts cop a heavy load. Not only do they provide a perch for our ever-expanding posteriors, they also brace us in rough weather and act as makeshift workbenches or utility tables during the course of a long day afloat. Yet, despite the vital role they play, Seats are often left to fend for themselves. Here are a couple of tips for treating your boat's furniture in tip-top condition:... - Adjust and lubricate the seat slide mechanism. Tighten up screws and bolts on the seat, slide mechanism, base plate and floor mount. - Use some warm soapy water to remove any salt that might have built up on the slide and fixings over time. - Clean vinyl surfaces with a suitable citrus-based cleaner. Spray any mildew spots with a mould/mildew cleaner or white vinegar and bicarb (always test on an inconspicuous area first) And a tip for new boat owners: don't wear new or newish blue denim jeans while boating if you want your light-coloured vinyl to stay that way. The dye easily transfers to the final and can be a nightmare to clean.

04.01.2022 Following on from a #biggerthanboatshow weekend last week, JV MARINE WORLD has needed to restock to keep up with the HUGE post-lockdown demand. Check out this fresh-out-of-the-mould pair: a new R520 Runabout and R525 Cuddy that hit JV's yard yesterday. New Revivals don't last long and we've heard one of them's already been spoken for.

03.01.2022 Day #7 of 14 SOUND ADVICE Odds are, if you’ve got a boat, you’ve got a FishFinder and GPS on board. We’d also put money on the fact that after dozens, maybe hundreds of trips, your head unit’s chock-a-block full of useless or hardly (never) used data that not only slows it down but also clutters the interface and makes it near impossible to find that little snapper honey hole you marked up last week.... Time to clean that Sh!t up. Dump all that date onto an SD card or a Hard Drive via your PC most units 5 years old or younger will have an integrated wizard to guide you through the process. Once that’s done, get your waypoints into order. Anything recorded as a number should be renamed to make it easier to group or alphabetize. What you’ll quickly notice is that 75% of your marks will probably show clusters you’ve set over time, some only metres apart from each other. Don’t believe me? Just zoom into one of your favourites on the GPS screen and see how many other X’s pop up that were hidden under another.. While you’re at it, give each one a dedicated icon, depending on what the mark represents. Once that’s sorted, ‘scuse the pun, it’s time to get rid of all the tracks, trails and routes that’ve created multi-coloured doodles all over your screen. If they’re only in one colour and you’ve never colour-coded them...shame on you! With these gone, not only will you be able to view more of your screen's real estate, but the unit’s processor will snappier and more responsive. If you’ve been using the screen shot function on your unit, it’s time to archive them then clear that folder out too. If you haven’t been using the screen shot function... trust us, you’re missing out. Anyway, this is probably enough to get you started. We’ll share more sounder tips and a couple of vital hacks in a future post. Stay safe, and don’t forget to wash those hands.

03.01.2022 Day #5 of 14 THINK YOU'VE GOT A SCREW LOSE? No matter how well a boat's built, screws, bolts and other fasteners will lose tension over time. Same goes for press studs, rivets and clips. Grab your favourite Phillips head screwdriver, a ratchet set, allen keys and a small shifter and go to town. ... Pay particular attention to hinges, canopy clips and mounts, rod holders, transducer brackets, cleats, just to name a few.

02.01.2022 Day #6 of 14 GIVE YOURSELF A BRAKE Trailer brake systems require regular maintenance to retain peak performance. If you’ve got a mechanical system, check and adjust the brake cable to ensure you remove any slack or free play. Grease handbrake and override brake coupling. ... While you’re at it, jack up your trailer. Spin the wheels and check tyres for uneven wear. Inspect bearing protectors (if fitted) and bearings for signs of wear or water intrusion. Repack bearings with grease and/or replace as necessary. Inspect calipers and pads for excessive wear. Since your hands are dirty anyway, tighten up all the nuts and bolts on you hangers, roller clamps. rollers and bunks.

01.01.2022 Mark Stav from Vic Dealer JV MARINE WORLD takes us for a walk around the Revival Boats fleet they currently have in stock at their Braeside Superstore. All models in stock for in-person viewing or demo. Contact Mark Stav or one of his experienced team today and explore the Revival difference.
