25.01.2022 Here are some pics of a gazebo I recently built for a neighbour in Upper Coomera. The kwila decking & cedar ceiling look fantastic in contrast with the white walls. Now they can take in their amazing view in style & comfort, even when it's cold or raining. This is the best time of year for building projects, with very little rain, projects usually run without any delays! If you are looking to have something similar built, a deck remodelled or a renovation taken care of I would be happy to help!

24.01.2022 Recently had the privilege of constructing kitchen bulkheads and storage, wall panels and a custom ceiling in a Gold Coast based charter boat. Lots of hours paid off with an amazing result!

23.01.2022 For anyone considering the removal of a wall, or to create a recess or cut-out as a feature, it's vital that the layout, design and engineering of the existing structure is first understood. This is important not only to find out what loads are being supported above but also for bracing and wind forces. Other items must also be considered such as electrical, plumbing and other services. Here are some photos of a small job in progress where a cut-out is underway, in preparation for an in-built fish tank! It will be a fantastic result.

15.01.2022 Sometimes you just have to get a room closed in fast! At this home the owners were fortunate to have a family member help renovate a downstairs room, then needed to protect their hard work from the weather asap whilst obtaining a result that was cost-effective and would have a finish to complement the existing brickwork.

15.01.2022 The timber privacy screen beside the pool is now completed, all was painted prior to install to prevent timber stains on the paved area.

11.01.2022 Concerns about the quality of roofing work I have seen on some houses recently. These are relatively new homes that, quite simply, should have had better attention to the roofing details. It is unfortunate that some builders just don't consider what happens when the wind drives the rain sideways! If you have any concerns over your roof and beleive that it could do with some attention to stop water ingress, I am able to help.

07.01.2022 Currently building some custom - fitted bulkhead cabinets hanging from the ceiling for a galley kitchen and bar area in a large catamaran that is being refurbished. Its so rewarding to see it all come together. Can't wait to see the final product when all paint and fittings are complete.

04.01.2022 I've had the pleasure of making some bench seats from some recycled old decking which had been salvaged from the Kirra surf club. These are now located in the Life Chiropractic studios at Bundall and Oxenford. There's nothing quite like the genuine rustic look of weathered hardwood with deep grooves and all. It can look amazing when dressed up properly.
