23.01.2022 First Fab Friday for 2020 is TOMORROW. 7pm at Lake Monger

19.01.2022 What a great night we had on Friday! Despite the awful weather we had 20 dancers, one large pizza (thanks Gary W), wine (thanks Roger) and a lot of frun - Thanks everybody. I cannot wait for the arm to get better so I can be more actively involved. Patience is a virtue. Next RYJ will be Week 5 Friday 8th June. Hope to see another great crowd.

13.01.2022 Like the phoenix rising out of the ashes, Revive Your Jive returns as . . . Fabulous Friday. Friday 26th April at 7pm at Lake Monger Bowls Club. It's Week 4 of the JDK Jive course so there will be plenty of moves (Beginners and Improvers) to revise and practise. We will also be doing some of those line dances (such as Waltz Across Texas, Bar Tender's Stomp, Stray Cat Strut etc.) according to requests.

11.01.2022 Sadly there will be no more Revive Your Jive nights ... unless something dramatic changes in the future. We just did not get adequate numbers of people consistently, so it became clear that we could not continue. The outcome did not justify the work input. Thank you to all who did attend, I hope you got the benefit from our nights.

10.01.2022 According to Led Zeppelin: "It's Been a Long Time..." and so it has. The first Fabulous Friday for 2020 is this Friday, 24th January. Start at 7pm with some line dances (Waltz Across Texas, Chilli Cha Cha etc.) then JDK Beginners Jive routine. Some sequence (El Paso, Seashells etc.) dances and then the Jive Improvers routine. We'll fit in a couple of requests at the end as we're packing up at 9pm (ish).

09.01.2022 Next Fab Friday is 14th February, Valentine's Day. Lake Monger are putting on a delicious (lasagne) supper. Perfect; no cooking and dancing with your loved ones. Supper at 6.30 dancing starts at 7pm.

09.01.2022 What a fabulous night we had at Lake Monger last night. Thanks to everyone who attended. Thanks to Gary for all the Xmas in July and thanks to Chris and Peter for catering.

07.01.2022 Fabulous Valentine's Friday at Lake Monger Rec Club. Lasagne (meat and veg options) available for $15 from 6pm. PLEASE register at the bar so Chris and Peter know numbers. Dancing will start at 7pm

01.01.2022 Hmmm I admit that I have been a bit slack with updating this site. Call me old fashioned... Anyway, the April Fabulous Friday got cancelled due to the pesky COVID lockdown. We were hoping things may get sorted to be able to reschedule for Friday 30th, but that's not happening. So, we'll have to wait for May and I'll confirm the date (either 21 or 28th) as soon as I know. Hope everyone is staying asfe and look forward to seeing you on the dance floor soon. Jim
