03.01.2022 A Happy New Year to all those who take the time to read my updates. January 1st, 2021 marks the first day that I am no longer the CEO and Superintendent of Wesley Mission. The last few months have been challenging but today is not a sad day, for I am extremely pleased to have got to know my successor Rev Stuart Cameron who will take Wesley Mission to the next level in terms of commitment and service. It has been an absolute privilege to have held this post in one of the most ...unique churches in the world. In a recent radio interview, I was asked what I was now going to do, and I said that Carol and I had chosen to travel during 2021, but that is going to be somewhat challenging. Thank you for all the good wishes and prayerful greetings at this time. There is to be Closure of Ministry service on 17th January at 6pm in the Wesley Theatre (this was the one postponed from 20th December). If you’d like to attend, registration can be made on the Wesley Mission website. Our people put together this version of The Blessing prayer for Carol and me, and it is our hope that you will be richly blessed this year.
02.01.2022 In this blog post, I reflect on recent challenges brought about by COVID-19 and contemplate where we find our strength in difficult times. By the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect. 1 Corinthians 15:10 Click the link to read the full blog post.
