23.01.2022 I just want to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you who donated to our dance studio’s beanie for brain cancer campaign. Over the week we raised $523.50 for the Mark Hughes Foundation. It was wonderful to see our students wear their beanies to class and teach them the importance of kindness whilst raising awareness to help others in need. 22.01.2022 Giving the girls some conditioning exercises to (hopefully! ) practice over the long Christmas break .It was great to see the fantastic effort they put in to this method of learning in their last ballet class for the year.

21.01.2022 Well done to 8 year old Charlotte Brown the very first dancer to take to the stage at the Grafton eisteddfod. Her hard work has certainly paid off receiving a 1st place in nov Demi character, 2nd place in nov ballet and Highly commended in her ballet and Demi character improvisations.

20.01.2022 Costuming a studio full of students for our end of year concert is the biggest (and scariest) part of my job. Very happy to be putting the final touches on the last lot of costumes for a Hairspray number. Very colourful indeed and can’t wait to see them under lights!

16.01.2022 Watching the girls on stage today just brought me so much joy... the mums and I certainly got a few giggles watching their improvisations. Getting up on stage to create a dance to a piece of music you have heard once would petrify most but these 3 got up and did it in front of an adjudicator and an audience. So proud of you all. A big congratulations to all of the girls and well done Abbey awarded a 1st, 2nd and 4 highly commended.

13.01.2022 What enjoyable class I had with our tiny tots this morning. They have adapted so well to the changes we have had to make since returning to the studio. They love their pink ‘spots’.. and it’s a fun way to keep them safely distanced. So happy they get to dance again

02.01.2022 This evening was a special time for the kids and I. It was our last performance group class and we didn’t dance a single step. Instead I asked them to write warm and fuzzies. They each wrote a message of kindness to everyone in the class and popped it in an envelope for the recipient to read when they got home. It is something to keep if one is ever a little down and needs to feel warm and fuzzy. It was a beautiful moment for us all to spend together and to remind each other how special they are.
