20.01.2022 Creatine Monohydrate, What does it do? Firstly, this is a supplement with over 700 studies that have been conducted on humans to test the safety and efficacy of creatine. Our body can produce this naturally and it is also found in food, primarily in uncooked meats. However, to get the same dose of 1 tsp of creatine monohydrate you would need to eat 1kg of raw beef and even if you eat a ton of meat you still won't see it's performance and physique enhancing effects. Your body ...has 3 energy systems, each using ATP as its main energy currency. 1. Aerobic System produces ATP slowly using glucose and fat for long durations of exercise. 2. Anaerobic systems produces ATP slowly using glucose as fuel for durations of 0.5-2 min 3. Phosphagen sytem produces ATP extremely quickly and uses creatine phosphate as its fuel for durations of 8-10 seconds As your body uses this ATP it will lose a phosphate molecule turning it into ADP. By having your muscles saturated with creatine it will allow for a phosphate molecule to be donated back turning the ADP back into ATP so that your body can use it. A normal diet that contains 1-2 g/day of creatine will have mucles creatine stores of 60-80%. Supplementation of Creatine with a 5g daily dose can see an increase of saturation by 20-40%. Showing that in order to get the most out of your Phosphagen system as well has the other two systems you want to supplement your diet with Creatine Monohydrate. A 2003 review looking at 300 studies has shown that there is a 5-15% increase in maximal strength and power with creatine supplementation. There is an overwhelming amount of study around this supplement proving the positive affects it can have on your body. Try it out for yourself.

17.01.2022 Alcohol and Fat Loss? Firstly, we need to understand what the body does when you consume alcohol. Once you consume alcohol it is absorbed into your blood stream and heads straight for your liver. After this happens your metabolism of all other nutrients will be put on hold until the alcohol is eliminated from your system. This means that while there is alcohol in your system all the carbs and fats that you eat will primarily go to storage . In order to combat this an...d reduce the risk of fat gains, if you are playing on having a night out you should consider consuming less carbs and fat during the day and don't binge eat food while alcohol is still in your system (@maxxchewning ). Another factor that people often don't think about is that even straight spirits have calories in it. For example, in 100ml of Vodka their is approximately 230 calories. Due to this you will want to adjust for it during the day so that you don't end up in a caloric surplus. The key message to take away from this is that alcohol in itself won't make you fat if you correct for the calories. The part that will see the majority of fat gains is from binge eating while intoxicated. However, in saying all this it is important to have a social life while dieting and go out with your friends. Dont think to much of it, just consumer slightly less calories during the day. #weightloss #alcohol #bodybuilding #fitness #australiamade #australiaowned #followme #RevtacElitePerformance

04.01.2022 Have you ever wondered what goes into a pre-workout and whether or not you actually get any benefit from it? Below is a list of all our ingredients and how it can benefit you. Check it out and receive 20% our products until tomorrow using "REP20" - - - -... - Caffeine Anhydrous (300mg): Caffeine stimulates the central nervous system by blocking adenosine, a neurotransmitter that normally causes a calming effect in the body. Ingestion of caffeine prior to exercise has been found to provide extended endurance in moderately strenuous training. Beta-Alanine (3.2g): The body naturally produces a large amount of hydrogen ions during intense training, which creates an acidic environment. This drop in pH inhibits your body from maintaining forceful contractions. Beta-Alanine increases muscle carnosine concentrations, which stabilizes muscle pH and soaks up hydrogen ions. This acts as a powerful intracellular buffer which increases strength, power and muscular endurance. Betaine Anhydrous (2g): Betaine acts as a methyl group donor to help reduce homocysteine levels and convert it into methionine. It has been suggested in clinical studies to improve muscle strength and power production. Betaine also increases levels of SAM-e, which have been linked to improved mood and cognitive function. Alpha GPC (400mg): Alpha GPC is a natural nootropic that delivers some serious cognitive benefits. Having a ton of energy is great, but you need to be able to channel that energy so that you can actually focus during your workout or sport N-Acetyl Tyrosine (1.5g): Tyrosine is a non-essential amino acid and a precursor for epinephrine, norepinephrine and dopamine. These chemicals primarily produce alertness, increased energy and improved mental focus Citrulline Malate 2:1 (6g): Citrulline Malate has been shown to enhance ammonia clearance during exercise which may have a positive impact on muscular endurance. It has also been shown to increase bicarbonates in the blood which play an important role in blood lactate levels by buffering lactic acid. It supports oxygen delivery to the muscles, which improves endurance and recovery through oxidative burst without oxidative damage. Arginine AKG (750mg): Arginine AKG works in the amino acid synthesis and protein availability leading to an increase and faster results in the form of muscle mass and strength. With increase arginine, N.O. production can increase. This can lead to wider blood vessels and increased blood flow in delivering nutrients to your muscles faster L-Theanine (360mg): L-Theanine is an amino acid which has positive effects when combined with caffeine. When used with caffeine, you notice an increase in reaction time, attention and focus, reduces jitteriness and causes relaxation without affecting energy. This usually leads to clean, jitter-free energy
