25.01.2022 A Message from the South Australian Premier's Reading Challenge: 'The Premier's Reading Challenge plays an important role in promoting the love of reading and this year more than any other, students will find joy, continuity and comfort in books! With your continued support, our students will keep reading and participating in the Challenge! It is with this in mind that we will make the Challenge even more accessible this year. We have provided additional flexibility in the ap...proach this year around free choice books but ultimately will leave it with you to determine the best approach for your school.' This means that your student can read 12 books of their free choice from school or home (providing they are at their suitable level) Some of our students have already finished reading their first 12 books and are onto their second sheet! Congratulations Harry ! See more

16.01.2022 Adelaide Writers Week 2020 has just concluded and some of our secondary students were fortunate enough to visit the city and experience the event first hand. For others there was live streaming in our Library of guest authors discussing their writing. Adelaide Writers’ Week is Australia’s largest free literary festival, offering both writers and readers a unique opportunity to spend time sharing ideas and literary explorations in a garden setting in Adelaide’s city centre. Each carefully selected program brings the world's most celebrated established and emerging writers together for a week that delights, surprises and enlightens audiences.

This year's book 'Whitney & Britney Chicken Divas' written by Lucinda Gifford was read by Emma Watkins from the Wiggles. She really brought the story alive! There was also a range of activites to choose from to add to the fun.
