13.01.2022 A silver lining to our flood in term 2 was that the Department for Education helped fund replacing our kitchen and it is now complete! It has really lifted the brightness of that area and given us a great space. Looking forward to testing everything out- including a dishwasher!

12.01.2022 Thanks to Kieran and First Care Medical for donating their time and equipment to come to kindy. The children enjoyed touring the ambulance, trying out the stretcher and learning about a range of medical devices.

08.01.2022 Hi everyone. We received a delivery today. We have no idea what it is or what is inside of it! Perhaps you can help us? We are all going to make predictions tomorrow but we would love to hear your guesses now too. Feel free to add them here. We would like the children to wonder about this without any help from their grown ups please. Even if they guess correctly please don't confirm it with them just yet. 01.01.2022 For those of you who haven't been into kindy, here is an update on those mystery eggs that were delivered a couple of weeks ago: We ended up with 13 chicks! They have been very busy growing! We decided to measure the weight of one of the chicks on Wednesday last week. We found that it weighed the same as 16 Unifix cubes. When we measured the same chick again the following Tuesday, we found it had nearly doubled! We represented the amounts with Unifix towers. You can see a ph...oto of the comparison between the measurements a week apart. We were amazed yesterday when we found the chick had grown more again in less than a day. We have also been observing and comparing changes to the chicks as they grow and we are looking forward to seeing what they look like next week. Hopefully we can do some more measuring, but we will have to wait and see if the chicks will be able to sit still in the scale container as they are very active now See more
