22.01.2022 Scouting and the Reynella Scout Group takes the health and safety of its members and our community extremely seriously. In light of the recent COVID-19 outbreak Scouts SA is cancelling all face to face Scouting for the next two weeks. Whilst we understand the cancellation of face to face Scouting will be a disappointment to our youth members we believe it is the only responsible thing to do. Instead, all of our Sections will run online meetings. We hope our families join us in Scouting at Home.

21.01.2022 On Thursday evening our Scout Unit embraced #ScoutingAtHome with a navigational night held on Zoom. The Scouts drew pictures using compass directions. Well done Scouts!

21.01.2022 Scouting continues in the Reynella Scout Group - albeit through the computer screen. Tonight our Cub Scouts embraced online Scouting with a "Thank You!" activity. Cub Scouts reflected on what they were thankful for and made thank you cards.

20.01.2022 On Thursday our Scouts pulled apart old kitchen and electrical appliances. It was a great experience to see what makes these everyday items function.

10.01.2022 We are back! The Reynella Scout Group resumes face-to-face Scouting from Tuesday. We are looking forward to seeing all our members in person again soon.

08.01.2022 Last week our Scout Unit cooked some yummy rocky road via Zoom. Don’t they look yummy!

08.01.2022 Scouting builds resilience for life! Resilience enables people to thrive and take on all that life has to offer, including the inevitable challenges. It’s about knowing our strengths and calling on them when needed. At Scouts, we empower young people to make decisions, take the lead and learn by doing. We give them a safe space where they can work with others to plan and embark on their own adventures, indoors and out. By building resilience in young people, we are empowering them to be able to learn from their mistakes and to understand that failing is okay it’s an integral part of the learning journey.

02.01.2022 Scouts SA advises that in line with COVID Directions and reflecting our role as responsible South Australian citizens that all face to face Scouting activities ...have ceased as at 11.59pm Monday 16 November. This applies to all youth activities, meetings and functions. Current indications from SA Government are that if all South Australians act now, we will be able to effectively suppress community transmission and return to ‘normal’ activities within a reasonably short period of time. We take this opportunity to thank you, our members and parents for helping your child, or you yourself continuing the Scouting journey through this most difficult year. 02.01.2022 Scouting aims to teach youth members the skills to survive in the outdoors. On Thursday (5th November) the Reynella Scout Unit honed their survival skills building emergency shelters. Great work Scouts.
