We have an actual thing coming up that will have real live music that you can go to in actual real life & sit in a chair & enjoy the show in real life & have a good meal in real life while being socially distant from other members of the public in real life? * Disclaimer: Lizottes is still at limited capacity so it’s a smaller show than usual, we are giving our HSC students one last crack at perfecting their pieces, the bands will have a coupla songs & there will be room for a handful of other students that are keen. 16.01.2022 WINNER WINNER CHICKEN DINNER Massive congrats to teachers @indioonagh & @duncbrown from @viragos.band for taking top honours & @zoe_hallam from @heyjanband for runners up at the uni band competition last night! Look, I’m not usually a big advocate of band comps as music (or any creative art) should never be a competition, but it’s great to see deserving people get recognised for their talents.... very much looking forward to hearing the music they record & release as a result of their wins. Awesome job guys, couldn’t be happier for you all

15.01.2022 So excited to be a part of this In the month of November the nsw government & @aria_official are putting on 1000 gigs all across NSW to help bring back live music. We got ours on 29th November at @lizottesnewcastle & it’s gunna be one hell of a great socially distanced show!

10.01.2022 SHAMELESS SELF PROMOTION ALERT So for those that are unaware, I write music for TV shows..... this here is a clip from the people’s choice awards when I was commissioned to bring the dance party vibes for the broadcast (& if you think it sounds a little dated well just hop on down from that high horse buckeroo, this was back in 2011 when Lady Gaga was cool the first time around & Charlie Sheen was going on about his tiger blood...) I just realised it’s been over 2 year...s since I last posted about this & I just assume everyone knows what goes on in our recording studio cuz you all have good memories &/or read my mind (if so, stop keeping those telekinesis powers to urself & show me the path to enlightenment)..... so I’ve been composing tracks for TV since way back in ‘06, plugged my little ass off & built it up to the point where my music is aired on TV multiple times every day somewhere in the world..... most of the shows I’ve written for are in the USA (The Grammys, The Voice, X Factor, People’s Choice Awards, American Pickers, Pawn Stars blah blah blah) but they’ve also showed up in random shows I’ve never heard of in other countries like France, Poland, Latvia, Denmark & others. I honestly get royalty checks for I don’t know what sometimes Anyway, just thought I’d share again, just to show not only do we talk the talk but we also walk the walk when it comes to muzak - Sam.

That all seems so long ago, we had these shirts made up late last year, then COVID-19 happened & we put it all on hold...... but no more! 100% of profits from these shirts will always be donated to Port Stephens Koalas, a local company doing great things rescuing & caring for injured koalas. This isn’t a one off fundraiser, it’s very much an ongoing thing, but the first run of these are very limited, head over to our website to secure yours..... you can pick up at our studio or we ship to anywhere in Australia for $10 P.S I can’t guarantee you’ll look as good as me dancing in the shirt, but I’m sure you’ll come close ..... if you don’t know what I’m talking about, that’s good!

06.01.2022 So we are keen to start up a jazz band at our studio...... whose in? Weekly rehearsals, jazz standards & rearranging contemporary songs into jazz, with socially distanced gigs thrown in the mix down the track.... Get in touch via your favourite means of communication if you’re down for this, you could slide right on in to our dm’s, write a letter, talk to us, give us a call, email, text message, message in a bottle, carrier pigeon, the list is endless..... If you do give us a letter, please hand write, we’d really like the chance to analyse your handwriting, not in a creepy way it’s just no one writes anymore & we would really appreciate some neat cursive handwriting during these unprecedented times, it helps soothe the soul.
