Eligible small businesses impacted by COVID-19 shutdown restrictions can apply for grants of up to $10,000 to help pay for a range of activities. ... There’s a wide scope of eligible activities that includes everything from financial, legal or other professional advice to support business sustainability and diversification, to marketing and communication projects to build the profile of your business, to re-training and up-skilling employees to adapt to new business models. Grants can also be used to meet business operational costs such as utilities, council rates, rent and telecommunication charges. 13.01.2022 SMALL BUSINESS FINANCIAL COUNSELLOR Full-time Position Based in Warwick/Stanthorpe/Goondiwindi Rural Solutions Queensland Inc. (RSQ) Trading as Rural Financial Counselling Service Southern Queensland (RFCS-SQ), is seeking to employ a small business financial counsellor to provide assistance to small businesses. The position will cover predominately the Southern Downs, Goondiwindi and parts of the Scenic Rim Local Government Council Areas.... RSQ has provided rural financial counselling services in Queensland since 2006 and is pleased to extend their financial counselling support to small businesses. The successful applicants will be required to provide small business financial counselling assistance to small businesses in the regional council areas impacted by drought, bushfires and COVID-19. This position will be funded until 30 June 2021 however may be extended depending on need and funding allocations. Closing Date: FRIDAY 23rd October 2020 If you have experience/qualifications in accountancy/insolvency or come from a business, banking and financial management background, this position may be for you. A full-time employee with RSQ will be required to work 75 hours in the fortnight. Travel will be required. Part-time hours may be considered. Remuneration package depending on skills/abilities based on a full-time employee is $87,945 per annum. In addition, superannuation will be paid at the compulsory rate of 9.5%. RSQ is a not for profit organisation and salary sacrificing may be an option for the successful applicant. Full job description, selection criteria and related information is available.
