28.12.2021 We are VERY excited to share this! You may not know, but Regional Farmers Markets is part of a broader business group called the Australian Ethical Food Group which is committed to high quality, resilient and sustainable food products that support the environment and community. A big part of this work is preserving our cultural heritage - as there is SO much knowledge around agriculture and food methods- especially from the pre-WW2 period - that is sadly being lost. For thi...s reason, our business group - which includes RFM and all our wonderful Farmers Markets - has entered into a multi-year collaboration with the National Library of Australia to help preserve Australian Cookery books from the period 1860 to 1960 via digitising them so they are available to people anywhere in the world! RFM is very proud to be part of this important project - and we thank all of our stall holders, customers, staff and supporters from the bottom of our hearts for helping to make this possible!
