24.01.2022 How amazing has the weather been for the past few days! Tomorrow the dial will be cranked up with temperatures expected to hit 38/39c across the Hunter for Monday 16th November. Fire Danger Rating will be HIGH.

23.01.2022 Advanced Mobile Location On 16 December 2020, the Australian Government announced the commencement of Advanced Mobile Location (AML) technology for the Triple Zero Emergency Call Service. AML is a technology built into the operating system of Apple and Android telephones which will provide greater location accuracy to Triple Zero during an emergency call from a mobile telephone. A transient low pressure system may develop within this trough on Tuesday, but the system will weaken and move away to the east by the evening. HEAVY RAINFALL, which may lead to FLASH FLOODING and RIVERINE FLOODING, is expected to develop across the Northwest Slopes and Plains and parts of the Central West Slopes and Plains and Upper Western forecast districts from Monday morning. Rainfall will increase and spread east, reaching the Hunter and parts of the Northern Tablelands and Mid North Coast, during Monday afternoon and evening.

08.01.2022 Temperatures are going to rise over the next few days as hot dry air from central Australia is swept down over NSW. As can be expected, Fire Danger Ratings will also increase. Is your property prepared for bushfires?

08.01.2022 For Monday 23rd November - It’s warming up tomorrow with temps around 35C and winds expected to be blowing 40-60kmh. As a result of this weather combination the Fire Danger Rating will be VERY HIGH. All Fire Permits are suspended for 24hrs from midnight tonight.

02.01.2022 A complex weather system will see rain and widespread thunderstorms move over the Hunter area in the next 3-4 days. While Friday may see *some* storms the majority are expected over our region Saturday, Sunday and Monday. It’s a big weather system, it will get here.
