09.01.2022 Darrens' Hay Shed // Rosevale, Qld 5th generation dairy farmer Darren approached our team in Gatton to build him a #HayShed for storage and weather protection. This shed isn't Darren's first R&F Shed however it was his first full build project! We #built this 24m wide X 30m long #shed in just 6 days (thanks to hard work and our simple welded & bolted connections). ... This shed is not only set up to protect Darren's produce from the elements but also from pests. We specifically designed a large reinforced concrete beam footing to create a fire ant resistant barrier and also keep costs down so that Darren could keep more funds towards the farm before revisiting the concrete slab sometime in the future. One of the features of this building that sets R&F apart from others is our engineered top hung sliding door system. ... We incorporate welded SHS frames and a heavy duty track to ensure the panels glide open with little effort. #sheds #farmsheds

This video shows a timelapse of the team installing a completely custom designed and engineered structural steel lintel beam to support a 10m wide top hung metal sliding door system. 01.01.2022 A Custom Workshop with an R&F twist // We recently completed this 18m wide X 36m long hybrid design for Koala Farms. This project is what we refer to as a true custom design. Why? Well, we incorporated hot and cold rolled steel to meet our clients needs. ... A clear 12m opening that is lockable! How so? Well our top hung metal sliding door system was beefed up with Universal beams and in-slab locking bars so that our client can drive in extra wide machinery, work on them and lockup at the end of day. Their Engineering team will enjoy the new office that was created by adding a 6m X 36m skillion extension along the length of the workshop. We are looking forward to seeing the workshop and office space fitted out and in use over the coming months. From Slab to completion, R&F Gatton looked after the entire project.
