17.01.2022 UPDATE : RG Golf Performance and Maroondah Driving Range to remain closed .... Unfortunately the easing of restrictions announced on Sunday 18th October do not extend to the reopening of the driving range and or the conducting of private golf lessons.... Specifics of the restricted activities direction state that a facility can only open if no equipment is made available by the facility for hire, or for communal or shared use and unfortunately this includes driving range golf balls .... We are incredibly disappointed with this outcome, but all indications suggest we will be back in operation from the next round of restrictions easing from November 2nd 2020 unless this date it brought forward by the state premier. Stay tuned for further updates as we will bring these to you as they come to hand. In the meantime stay safe and I can’t wait to see you all personally at the driving range when we get the all clear to reopen. 16.01.2022 Stage 3 covid 19 lockdown in Victoria has been challenging on so many levels for many, me included..... One of my greatest passions in life is my job, I am very lucky to have a job that I absolutely love, to coach the game I love to so Many others.... Lockdown 1.0 was tough, 2.0 even tougher when you miss what you do and being able to connect and communicate with so many amazing clients!... The lucky side to lockdown 2.0 is that golf courses have remained open and it is giving golfers an outlet and opportunity to continue to play the game.... With this being said I would love to hear from you all, any stories, any questions about the game, any videos you would love for me to post to help with your game, any comments or even to just say gday, I would love to hear from you !! 08.01.2022 Hi RG Golf Performance followers, thanks to everyone that has taken the time to follow my fb page and I hope and trust everyone is keeping safe during this difficult time......... today I had the opportunity to soak up some proper Melbourne sunshine and get back out to my home base Maroondah driving range for some extended filming sessions, I wanted to touch on a few areas of the game that I couldn’t do from my home studio set up so I hope you enjoy the videos that are coming... your way over the next few days as we all continue to count days until we can get back on course....... today’s video talks about mental thoughts during the golf swing and how I approach hitting a golf ball along with divot size and the correct mentality when it comes to taking a divot, I hope you all enjoy and please Leave any questions or feedback in my comments section below and if you feel like sharing this video it would be greatly appreciated RG

01.01.2022 RG GOLF PERFORMANCE Important update - COVID 19 Attention all RG Golf Performance clients....... Yesterday we are saddened to receive some updated news in regard to the conducting of golf lessons and golf coaching at facilities such as Maroondah driving range. It was initially confirmed that when VICTORIA was placed back into stage 3 lockdown at midnight 8/7/2020, that venues such as driving ranges must close immediately, however PGA members like myself received confirmation that we would be able to continue to provide golf coaching in a one on one/two capacity providing strict social distancing guidelines were being met.... Unfortunately Since Wednesday midnights lockdown, the department of health has since revised its conditions and has placed a number of new restrictions that doesn’t allow PGA golf professionals like myself to continue to coach during this time. As much as this saddens me to say, as of Saturday 11/7/2020, Golf lessons have had to be officially put on HOLD until we are advised that we can reopen and or teaching can resume at the facility.... It is currently unknown when golf coaching and facilities like Maroondah driving range will be able to Reopen, (6 week lockdown is currently scheduled to end on Thursday 20th August) However you can be assured that as soon as we find out when coaching can recommence I will be the first to let you all no.... It’s a sad time for all, especially as golf is currently still allowed to be played at this time, its what makes it even tougher that I can’t be out there helping you all, but the experts are who we must follow and that’s what we will continue to do until we can get past this nasty virus ! I already just can’t wait to be able to get back into things and to see you all back at the driving range and helping you with your golf. During this time, Please stay safe, and take care of your loved ones!!
