24.01.2022 Good morning Facebook friends! Just a friendly reminder to make an appointment for an eye test if you haven't had one in the last two years. We know it can get very busy during the week, but making time to look after your health is crucial - and remember that we're open on Saturdays from 9:30am - 1pm!

18.01.2022 Do you dislike wearing glasses or contact lenses? Perhaps you've considered the option of getting laser eye surgery. Why not come in and discuss it with us? We do laser referrals and would be more than happy to provide you with a referral if suitable after a quick check-up.

18.01.2022 Are you over 40? If so, you should consider getting a visual field examination. These are tests designed to find out how well your peripheral vision is functioning and they can help to detect threats early. It is strongly recommended for anyone over the age of 40 years to check their eye pressures. These tests are bulk billed under Medicare, and we strongly recommend that you take one every two years at the maximum.

14.01.2022 Are you aware of Vision Australia's NSW Spectacles Program? If you currently earn an income below a certain threshold, you can receive government funded glasses (including both frames and lenses) without paying a thing. All you need to do is bring in a recent Centrelink income statement and, if we find that you are eligible for the program, you can choose from a range of government frames, free of charge.... If you're not satisfied with the frames included in the program, you can even choose from any of our other frames - the lenses will still be covered by the government, but you'll have to pay the frame price. However, we have frames that are on sale for as little as $20! Make sure to call or email us if you have any questions!
