08.01.2022 A reminder that there will be an optional Boarder Parent meeting via ZOOM tomorrow afternoon (Friday 24 April) at 5:00pm. As per Stewart's email, this meeting isn't essential, just an opportunity to catch-up and share feedback on the first week of remote learning. If you have any specific questions regarding remote learning for specialist staff (i.e around technology, curriculum etc) please email them to Stewart beforehand so he can arrange for answers to be provided at the m...eeting. Instructions on how to join the ZOOM meeting were included in Stewart's email. Looking forward to 'seeing' you tomorrow!

08.01.2022 Celebrating National Boarding Week at RGS. RGS has a close association with ABSA (Australian Boarding Schools Association), an organisation that each year advocates for boarding students across Australia. Despite our different circumstances in 2020 there is still plenty to celebrate about boarding. This time has further highlighted how connected our boarding families are at RGS and continues to enhance our sense of community. #2020celebrateboarding

06.01.2022 Well done to Lachlan, Jess and Bri for submitting entries in the James Cook University competition - This is Learning...but not as you know it. Bri won a Go Pro Hero 8 Black Bundle for winning the statewide competition while Lachlan and Jess won JCU promotional packs for their entries.

03.01.2022 RGS INTER-SCHOOL SHOW CATTLE CHAMPIONS 2021 saw the return of the Rockhampton Show and RGS won the hotly contested show cattle inter-school trophy for a sixth c...onsecutive time yesterday. Many RGS students recorded wins and places in their classes with Charli White setting a Rockhampton Show record after winning the overall student title along with winning every class in her age group. RGS student George Tucker took home top junior student, Cam Mortimer, Tyler Hyden and Greta Smith won classes and Anna-Rose Chapman won top point student for prime judging. Lucy Prentice qualified for the regional paraders final next weekend. Well done team RGS! #RG1 #6inarow See more
