19.01.2022 Happy New Year! Sandgate & Brighton Branch welcomes you all back to a great new year! We hope you're all ready to start the year off with some action. This year Rhee Tae Kwon-Do celebrates 50 years in Australia! - We have a great year ahead of us as Australia's first, largest and best Tae Kwon-Do School in Australia. We're running some great joining specials in conjunction with our 50th year so if you've been thinking of coming along now is a fantastic time to do so. If you're a past student why not make this year the one you put your belt back on and continue your journey. We offer an unlimited free trial so get in touch or simply come along to the branch.

19.01.2022 Was an action packed and energetic Action Day for our Area Tuesday night. Such an honour to have Master Instructor for Australia, Chong Kwan Jang Nim Nigel Higgs and our Great Brisbane Regional Master Instructor, 6th Degree Master Instructor Morgan HIGGS attend and assess our students. All Training Centres in our Area were well represented and there was great instruction from my fellow branch instructors. Congratulations also to two students, Dan from our Sandgate Training Ce...ntre as well as Victoria from our Morayfield Training Centre, who were both promoted to Junior Black Belt on the night. A great effort, and well deserved promotion for both of them. Their discipline, focus and attention to great technique was clearly evident on the night. They will both be great assets to the future of Rhee Tae Kwon-Do. Not only to the Sandgate & Morayfield Training Centres but the Brisbane Region. Many more students were promoted on the night and we'll be continuing to advance those that couldn't attend to move up over the following weeks. Well done to all students there on the night and thank you to their families and friends that came to spectate. 11.01.2022 WE'RE BACK!! As lock-down restrictions have eased the Rhee Tae Kwon-Do Sandgate Training Centre (formally at Brighton State School) is back up and running. New students are always welcome. If you were planning on giving Rhee Tae Kwon-Do a go before the lock-down, or just eager to get active and moving again, get in touch. We welcome all existing and past Rhee Tae Kwon-Do students. 06.01.2022 Well our last Action Day for the year certainly went off with a bang. Thank you to all Brighton students that attended on Saturday, and to all the Rhee Tae Kwon-Do students of Brisbane who came along. I was honoured to receive my 2nd Dan promotion, a fantastic way to cap off our last Action Day for the year. A big congratulations to the Brighton students who attended, you all managed to gain your promotions on the day. A special thank you to our Junior Black Belt instructor Jeremy, and Yu Dan Ja Zane, your ongoing and tireless assistance is invaluable. World Master Chong Chul Rhee was very impressed with the turn out and success on the day. Let's all continue the great success of this Action Day through into next year!

02.01.2022 We had another action packed and energetic Action Day event for our northern Rhee Tae Kwon-Do branches last Thursday. We were honoured to have both Master Instructor for Australia, Chong Kwan Jang Nim Nigel HIGGS and our Great Brisbane Regional Master Instructor, 6th Degree Master Instructor Morgan HIGGS in attendance. Despite social distancing limitations we still managed to have a great turn out at our Morayfield training centre. Morayfield Rhee Tae Kwon-Do hosted students ...from our Sandgate, Bracken Ridge, Redcliffe, Deception Bay, Mango Hill and Caboolture training centres. Students were put through their paces in a fun and action packed night. Congratulations to all students that were promoted, most notably Claudia who successfully passed her Junior Black Belt application and joins the ranks of our other Rhee Tae Kwon-Do black belts. We also saw one of our Sandgate students, Dan, assessed and successfully promoted to Junior Black Belt Instructor. This is the highest level a junior black belt can reach before they start preparations for grading to adult levels. An immense honour that is only given to students of exceptional technique, perfect pattern knowledge and dynamic abilities in the art of Rhee Tae Kwon-Do. All junior Black Belt Instructors present on the night wowed the crowd with an impressive display of free sparring and board destruction.
