18.01.2022 And I'm back!!!! Whew! I've missed you guys!!! I cannot wait to get back into it!! But...as with everything else in our lives it will be different ... To stay open I have to abide by QLD Gov. Guidelines. So a few of the changes you will see are as follows - - Only 1 person at a time in my room...unfortunately for the time being, this will include children. - If you have had any cold/flu symptoms or you have been in contact with anyone who has - you will be asked to RESCHEDULE! - Their will be a hand sanitizing station outside my room - you will be required to use this before entering. - All payments will be eftpos or direct deposit via my PayID/Osko. - I will only be taking appointments during school hours, outside of this will depend on my husband being home to tend to the kids - minimising contact...cuuuuz we all know how my kids be haha So it may take me a bit to get you in - BUT I WILL GET YOU GURL!!!! Please keep in mind I work from my home, where my family live. So if I feel like I am putting myself or them at risk in any way I have the right to refuse service. But I am so freakin excited to see everyone and catch up - legit missed your faces!!!! See you soon!!!! ox

12.01.2022 Woohoo!!! So as I'm sure you have all heard/read - I can reopen as of the 16th May!! Woohoo!!! *insert happy dance* As much as I would LOVE to jump right back into it, I still have a lot going on behind the scenes that needs my attention first. As soon as I am 100% able I am all yours ladies!!!! At this stage, I will be limiting appointments and I will have a few new stricter policies incl. unfortunately the inability to cater to more than 1 client at a time (including children sorryyyy )

08.01.2022 Stage 2 guys!!!! 'Beauty' will be re-opening in stage 2 of the governments easing of restrictions. Each state/territory sets their time frames for these stages dependent on Covid-19 cases etc for stage 2 to creep up on us before we know it, I miss you all!!

07.01.2022 So - these are confusing times for everyone. Fortunately, with Gladstone having no recorded positive Covid-19 patients we have been blessed in our district to remain relatively distanced from the reality of this pandemic. My husband and I have made the decision to keep our children at home, as of today. This decision is a personal one, and has many factors behind it. A few of these include; - our youngest is unwell and is often under the weather so is currently undergoing a... few tests to find out why - qld gov has made these last 2wks of term optional for those that wish to self isolate - i am willing able to do so - less children at school spreading germs - less children for teachers to have to monitor and less strain on their already depleting hygiene resources This is the best decision for us at this time. For this reason, I am asking that all clients - attend their appointments alone, children included. - only attend if you are in good health I would hate to have to ask you to leave, that will be an awkward situation for both of us. I understand this is going to make it difficult for some to attend, but i work from my home, not a salon where it is all contained. Its my home. I love all of my clients, if you are one you will know that. Otherwise you wouldn't be one But please, I am asking you to respect the boundaries I have in place. 06.01.2022 **Not aimed at anyone in particular** Coming into flu season I am requesting that if you are feeling any symptoms, please PLEASE reschedule...our household have already been hit with antibiotics/days off school/work. I understand that sickness happens and that your appointment is important to you, but unfortunately there is only 1 of me and if I get sick and cannot work that is money I do not earn for my family... 01.01.2022 And that's a wrap folks... unfortunately for the moment I am no longer allowed to operate... "NEW RESTRICTIONS: The Prime Minister has just announced a range of strict new social distancing measures which will come into effect from midnight tomorrow. Including the following: ... - Food courts in shopping centres will have to go to takeaway only - Auction houses will have to close, real estate auctions and open house inspections must cease - State Govts will make a decision on outdoor and indoor markets (excluding food markets). - Beauty therapy, nail salons, spas, massage services, tanning & waxing services will all have to close - Hairdressers and barbers can stay open - but must restrict the time a client is in a salon to no more than 30 minutes - Amusement parks and arcades will close - Community halls and pools must close - Weddings can only have 5 people attending while observing the one person per 4 square metre rule - Funerals can have no more than 10 people while observing the 4 square metre rule. Schools are staying open."

01.01.2022 Only 7 days of school left for Term 3!!! As everyone would be aware - I have 4 boys at home during those 2 weeks...and my big boy celebrates his birthday bang in the middle of these holidays, so I won't be taking any bookings, unless necessary.
