16.01.2022 Lest we forget.

10.01.2022 ‘I often have this fear: That I will run out of ideas. That I will run out of art. This paralyses me at times. But here’s the reality: art is not finite. I can never run out of words. I can never run out of brush strokes. I can never run out of images. I can never run out of ideas. I can never run out of inspiration. My productivity may ebb and flow, but the (reassuring and liberating) truth remains. You can never run out of art.’ Something I wrote last year. And something I... need to remind myself of week in and week out. Do any of you ever share the same fear? Ronnie xo Below: From a recent bush walk. Quite frankly, going for a bush walk at the moment is the gift that keeps on giving.

07.01.2022 Friends, look around you today. What do you see? Below: The 'Distortion' Bench By Najla El Zein.

07.01.2022 One week till the first lesson goes live! Remember, this next session is free and open to anyone around the world. It starts next Monday 4 May and runs for twelve weeks. It's my way of giving back during this lockdown period. To sign up, visit www.unravelyourphotos.com and scroll to the bottom of the homepage. I'm super excited to be teaching this course again and can't wait to see you guys in class! Below: Words by my friend Jodi Wilson of Practising Simplicity.

06.01.2022 We went for a bushwalk last week and, for the first time in months, this boy of mine reached over and took my hand of his own accord. My heart almost skipped a beat. That's what I'm thankful for today: the memory of my son's hand in mine, and the fact that he initiated holding hands. What about you guys? What are you thankful for today?

06.01.2022 When I took this photo in Rick's old bedroom on Christmas Day last year, I felt like I was looking at a ghost in the mirror. Now when I look at her, she does indeed seem like a ghost from the past. A past that feels like a lifetime ago now... ‘Alone in His Old Room’ / 2019
