28.04.2022 What a great wedding . Had the pleasure of marrying Luke Clare & Natalie Speedy on her family property at Eukey , just outside of Stanthorpe on Saturday . Natalie is the niece of my great mate Bill Speedy . The ceremony incorporated both their Aboriginal heritage with a modern wedding ceremony . The bridal party was announced by her brothers playing the didgeridoo, Uncle Johnno proudly Acknowledged the Traditional Owners , a 40,000 Aboriginal pray was read by the groom’s sister , candles we lit to remember loved ones that had past followed by a traditional smoking ceremony . It was hot , dusty , windy and very dry with plenty of flies ( with one being swallowed by me during the ceremony ) A typical Aussie Bush Wedding with lots of love , laughter and tears ....: so honoured to be part of it .

15.01.2022 Felt very special today as I had the privilege of marrying Mark & Ian at Brisbane City Botanic Gardens Ian’s parents came from UK to celebrate with them . The rain just held off until we had toasted our newly married couple . I have been struggling with bronchitis and laryngitis all week but with the help of drugs and lozenges I got through it with the support of my 2 grooms & their wonderful guests . There was just so much love and joy , tears and laughter .
