25.01.2022 A positive end to 2020! Even with restrictions and lockdowns, we managed to pull off a huge global event (whilst still being safe!). 32 MG artists, 13 incredible guest artists, over 10 new commissioned works, 3 nights, 12 locations, 50 mins of art works, 50 million hours on Zoom = Project / Forward: 2047... Creating support and community, and bringing art into under resourced and unexpected areas, imagining a better future. An incredible effort from everyone involved, it's a pleasure to be part of Project/Forward: 2047! This project was made possible thanks to Jason Stephenson. 15.01.2022 Project / Forward: 2047, presented by Micro Galleries is weekend global projection art festival (11-13 December) featured in Kenya, Nepal, Colombia, Indonesia, Peru and Jordan, that will be echoed in Hong Kong, Austria, Italy, Spain and Australia. Over 45 artworks from across the world will be beamed onto unexpected spaces in places we need to be in the spotlight, proving that not only will COVID not stop us from creating, but it's also giving us the fuel to create the world... we want. I am so excited to be involved in this project as a creative lead helping this project happen! I will be a host here in Sydney, Australia and currently creating new work for this too.
