18.01.2022 Clément Rhum is from the isle of Martinique in the lesser Antilles in the Caribbean. Clément is a very well-known brand that begun in the 1940’s by Charles Clement. The Clement family has owned their sugar plantation for over 130 years. Homère Clément, physician and mayor of Le François, purchased the prestigious 43 hectare sugar plantation, Domaine de L'Acajou, and pioneered Rhum Agricole, a contemporary style of pure rum made directly from fresh free-run sugarcane juice, in...stead of the traditional rum made from molasses. We are extremely excited in this particular bottle the Rhum Clement L'elixir! It has just hit our shores and we are incredibly excited about tasting it.... A blend of superb rums, this XO spirit has been aged for at least 6 years in oak casks. The result is a rum that has perfect balance between spirit and oak, with classic Agricole notes of grassy, sweet and aromatic cane, alongside oakier flavours of vanilla, brown sugar and tropical fruit. Very few bottles this is one not to miss!
