21.01.2022 CORONA VIRUS UPDATE Understandably the fear this virus is generating has had crippling effects on Rhyme St Café. The prospect of closing our doors would mean our loyal devoted staff are left without a job. With much sadness we cannot bear this to happen. In order to best support our staff, we are continuing to trade for as long as permissible. With more of a troubling dip in the economic landscape to come, we ask for your support and understanding. We will constantly be upd...ating and changing our business in order to not only address health issues as they arise but the ongoing viability of the business to ensure Rhyme St Café can stay open. Beyond simply monitoring the outbreak of the novel coronavirus [COVID-19] closely, we are taking active measures to help keep everyone safe and halt the spread of the virus. We have always followed food safety and sanitation standards; however, we have implemented several additional precautions to proactively minimize the risk of exposure to the virus for our staff and guests. Our team members have been fully briefed about the specific protocols to follow in relation to this virus. With hand washing and keeping areas extremely clean, we are fully prepared with both preventive and responsive measures. We are going the extra mile when it comes to our menus, tables, cutlery, glassware, etc. We are using disinfectants that are effective against the coronavirus. We have also increased the frequency of cleaning and sanitizing hard surfaces, our electric doors ensure you can remain touchless of any hard surfaces. We have taken measures further with the introduction of an on-line app that you can order, pay and just pick up your order. No touching of any surface required, if this concerns you. See below a scan code and/or website to engage that app for your ordering, this app will continue be available for a timesaving alternative for everyone moving forward To ensure your safety outside of our walls, we encourage you to wash your hands with soap or antibacterial hand wash and water frequently. Cover your nose and mouth with a tissue or your elbow if you must sneeze or cough and dispose the tissue in the bin immediately. To remain open we ask that you support us where ever possible and know that your safety and customer satisfaction are our main priority, we can ensure you that we are taking every possible measure to ensure your safety is paramount within the Rhyme St Café walls.
