21.01.2022 Had an absolute blast at the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra studio with DRILL working on my piece "Krypton", along with fellow composers Claire Farrell and Jonathan Alan Hugh Dieckfoss! Thanks to DRILL, TSO, and the TSO's fantastic Outreach and Education Executive, Jenny Compton, for providing us with this amazing opportunity.

Here the dancers are rehearsing Angela Barnard’s work about the elemen...t Krypton, with the musical score created by Rhys Gray. Fun Fact: We nicknamed this room ‘Galimedes’, a mashup of Galileo and Archimedes, because of all the fantastic science art on the glass walls. 14.01.2022 This weekend, I participated in the Astor Sessions, run by Music Tasmania and held at The Astor Private Hotel. Learnt a lot of cool stuff about collaborating, recording, and mixing (thanks to Akouo), tha show biz (thanks to Grant Gillies of Gaga Music and Monique Brumby), and also learnt a lot about MOO BREW's new stout ("the velvet sledgehammer"!).
