14.01.2022 The timeless detail of Classic tumbled travertine -------- - Travertine has somewhat seen to be overused and around for sometime now but is a perfect and durable stone if used in the right places -------- - We pursued with this classic travertine pathway and patio as it was featured amongst the other areas of the property so it made sense to follow suit --------- ... - The natural earthy colours in the stone and pigments are what make this travertine a timeless product, Travertine is rated P3 in slip and wear making it ideal for side paths and patios but we tend to not use it around pools and wet areas -------- - The natural pit holes and pigments are what give the stone character and look but must always be filled and grouted amongst the whole tile to stop and debris, soil and stains from penetrating into the pores -------- - When it comes to grouting we use a buff / beige FG8 grout from @ardexaustralia, this colour is perfect against the stone as opposed to using a white which highlights to much brightness throughout the stone, the buff/beige grout balances and mixes well throughout the stones characteristics making it an easy transition on the eye ----- - Stone supplied by @josie_co_ - grout and glue supplied by @ardexaustralia - sealer supplied by @aquamix #stone #stonecladding #travertine #classictravertine #rumbled #tile #paver #30mm #grout #beige #cream #stretcherbond #sealer #aquamix #ardex #tileglue #terrace #pathway #tiling #tiled #paved #design #patio

Beast of an install yesterday at our Woollhara project installing this bullnose granite indian jet black honed step -------- - The existing step tread was lower than the new floor inside which created a trip hazard--------- - We had to carefully remove the existing tread without disturbing any other structures -------- ... - The new tread was cut to size, checked out over and around the existing timber door studs and set into place carefully........
