13.01.2022 @dakotahuntstudio Raise your hand if you agree! The BIGGEST change that has taken place in my life since January 2019 (when I started this personal ...growth journey), is becoming aware. Aware of my thoughts first, then aware of my behaviors, aware of other people, aware of my body. . This isnt what @donmiguelruiz was talking about when he wrote this quote; however, one of my favorite things thats changed because of awareness is knowing how food, water and vitamins affects my body. . Ive never changed my eating habits by just changing what I eat, Ive become aware of how my body feels when I eat certain food and now I CRAVE the healthier options. I LOVE the energy I have all day when i eat healthy. And its only because of awareness. I know how food affects my body, and I know how it makes me feel because Ive tuned into my body and the small things it tells me about the things I eat. . I think you could have forced me on a healthy food diet doing the same things I do now...but without awareness it would fail on me. . What has changed in your life because of awareness? 12.01.2022 Is your overeating out of control? Are you an emotional eater? Do sugary sweets, salty snacks or junk food call you by name? Can you imagine a life where these things no longer control you? Each day I would wake up and promise to have self control and by morning tea, be berating myself for saying yes to snacks and foods that are nutritionally empty. Then at night, after a full dinner, I would be in the cupboards or at the fridge looking for more food!!... Today I can say these things no longer control me. The snacks, the overeating, the cravings are gone. Yes, sometimes I may have thoughts of snacks and that is what they are, thoughts. There is no longer the pull within me to act anymore. AND the best part.......I have more money because I am not wasting it on crap food!!
