24.01.2022 With Christmas fast approaching, it's usually a time of year I like to plan something nice to do with friends to keep my festive torch burning bright, because i'm a sucker when it comes to being festive, merry and cheerful. It's just my thing! This year I'm heading back home to Ol'Blighty to spend the festive season with family and friends, & so i've teamed up with Little Tap, Tarporley to bring you a couple of Christmas Macramé workshops. I'll be guiding you through making... a Macramé Christmas wreath, something fun to make and you will L O V E pulling it out of the box year after year....in fact you may never even put it away! Tuesday 11th December & Thursday 13th December. There is limited availability in each session, so get in touch early to confirm your spot! 11.01.2022 A little selection of Christmas goodies I won’t have a great deal in my shop this festive period as I’ll be overseas for the majority of the silly season, but these little beauties can be found sitting pretty along with a selection of clutches and plant hangers with @wallisandjazz at the Nightcliff Markets every weekend between now and Christmas. 09.01.2022 So it’s been a little while since my hands got busy creating, and although my brain has been yelling at my fingers to get a move on, I just haven’t been able to mentally get into it. But I was having a glass or two of wine with some girlfriends over the weekend & something clicked. All of a sudden I have a little spark back! I may not have the time to spend hours on end running luxurious cotton through my hands, but I have been stealing moments for the last few days, putt...ing my effort into making a little something sweet for the impending arrival of a new family member I couldn’t tell you what triggered the change, but by gosh I’m glad it happened. I’ve even taught myself to 6 strand braid today in an attempt to add a little more texture & variation to the piece my mind is numb even trying to recall how I did that! Anyway, happy Monday makers!! 07.01.2022 I’ve been a little quiet on the ol’ social media front this last few weeks, squirrelling away finishing off a couple of customs but taking a bit of extra time for myself & my family. But last night I couldn’t help but feel a bit lost as my hands hadn’t gotten tangled up in cotton for a while, so threw together this cute little clutch & viola, it appears to have done the trick! I’ve been diffusing creative oils, burning a good old palo santo smudge stick & thinking about cotto...n all day long...and I am in the midst of my 3rd mini wip of the day with more ideas flowing!
