With high hopes we waited for our trip in July which inevitably was rescheduled to this weekend! And finally the 25 km ban was lifted and our trip was granted. 01.01.2022 How does music education help your child? Especially in the early years, it seems all they are doing is having fun. But in the background your child's brain is having a massive workout. This video was an unexpected gift. I was intending on recording a different video with intent to teach children how to sing and tap using clap sticks. But my little boy had different ideas. Letting him take the lead you can witness the seemingly simple and fun exercise of music making. B...ut what you don't see is all the wonderful brain development happening which will lead to many positive aspects to his life. Partly his education, partly his well-being and also how he will process information. Research is aplenty on how music helps children, though so many people still don't see the massive impact it has or simply understand. Hope you enjoy this quick little video. He enjoyed himself so much we went on to record another "Dinosaur" song with the addition of a Dinosaur puppet and body percussion. If truth be told I was having just as much fun as he was!
