25.01.2022 In case you missed it, today we hosted an excellent discussion via Responsible Returns on ethical super and how to ensure your super is aligned with your interests and values, and not contributing to damaging activities for people and the planet. Big thanks to all who attended and participated, to Stewart Investors Sustainable Funds Group for making this event possible, and of course to our wonderful speakers who drove a really insightful discussion. 24.01.2022 A financial adviser is there to help you make the best financial decisions for your personal situation and grow your money. When it comes to ethical and responsible investing, an extra set of knowledge and skills is required to effectively meet your investment goals in a way that aligns with your interests and values.
20.01.2022 Two days to go until we host this jam-packed event via Responsible Returns, Saving Planet A with your Super. Host of the War on Waste and Fight for Planet A's Craig Reucassel and guests will unpack the role your super can play in creating the world you want to live in, and the simple steps to align your money with your values - including how to avoid fuelling climate change. We look forward to welcoming speakers from the Australian Conservation Foundation, Super Consumers Australia, Future Super, Aware Super and Ethical Investment Advisers.
12.01.2022 As the largest and most active network of people and organisations engaged in responsible, ethical and impact investing in Australia, we highlight and reiterate that there is a widespread belief across the finance sector that First Nations Voice, enshrined in the Constitution, is a critical element in creating a shared national identity that drives sustained equality and equity of opportunity for all Australians. This idea, of collaborating with First Nations peoples to incre...ase their voices in responsible investment and sustainable finance, is the first objective of our First Nations Peoples' Rights Working Group, which was established in 2020 in response to demand from members, reflecting the sense of importance felt by those in the finance sector. In Reconciliation Week, and every week throughout the year, RIAA acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we all work and live - for RIAA offices this is the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation, and the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation. We recognise their continuing connection to land, waters, species and culture, and acknowledge their ongoing status as the First Peoples of Australia and pay our respects to their Ancestors and Elders past, present and emerging. #reconciliationweek #NRW2021 #MoreThanAWord Reconciliation Australia

03.01.2022 Is the responsible investment community complicit in the charade of working to change the world only in ways that don’t jeopardise individuals’ own standing? At #RIAustralia21, Anand Giridharadas, author of New York Times bestseller Winners Take All: The Elite Charade of Changing the World, will challenge responsible, ethical and impact investors to think about what they stop doing and start doing to help achieve equality and systemic change.
